I'm lucky for sure. It doesn't show up well on camera, but this buggy is BIG but the track makes it look small because of how big it is. The ruts are 2" deep.
This might be my favorite car I currently own. Harder to work on, but I don't have to work on it a lot. Slap some Badland 3.8s on it and suddenly it's a narrow Truggy. Fun car.
Awesome review on a wicked beast .... You definitely have the best playgrounds out there ..... I have busted up a few things on mine but love it no less
You won’t be disappointed! I got the roller and going to get the rtr for the electronics and spare sparts also so I can see the hype of the electronics lol 😊
Last fall, i had to decide on the kagama or the asuga. Once i saw them both at the hobby shop, I knew one of them was going to be my first 1/8 rc. I decided on the kagama and i love it, but I am still finding myself drifting into the corally section so next car will be likely the asuga. Love team corally, cheers
Just put a 16t pinion on mine, gonna take it out later and see what its like on 6s, stripped a hex on the front wheel, so got my sketer wheels on for now Oh yeah, excellent video bro.....as usual👍 Edit, quick rip up the road, 16t pinion is actually OK on 4s now, it was a bit slow IMO on 4s stock, might try a 17t
I have been looking into getting a TC for a while, but I just can't choose. Since you have most of them, in your opinion, can they race along the lines of the Losi 8ight?
I love it but it does have a few weak points I love to bash and sending them high asuga tends to bend the braces and the chassis I keep banging them straight but it’s awesome flyer ….the spark can take a beating but it’s shorter you know what I still like them all the Kagama is awesome….. there electronics suck a lot of wiring with those big capacitors better to take rollers
I wonder if aftermarket able to get here ? , I know Jason perin built a awesome asuga I can see hard to compare or beat , I have arrma version and just hybrid but inspired from the typhon such a beast
What about a shootout between 223 Typhon, Synchro4 Corally, current Tekno Buggy and a Jato VXL? I would like such a comparison a lot. Great review thanks.
Love your videos. Always good info. One thing I wonder about this buggy. Does anyone make upgrades for team corally? Any aftermarket companies support corally?
The plastic on some of the car is not very strong like upper and lower arms can break quite easily from my experience! Shock tower screws are the biggest weak point! Apart from that the car is a beast!!
This or a TLR Typhon? I wish someone would build a big 5th scale sized 4wd buggy. I don't have a buggy and I've almost bought a TLR typhon a dozen times, then someone releases a new rig that I'd rather have. What I really want a 8s Kraton sized Typhon. Arrma has everything they need to build one except the body. That's actually the only reason i haven't built my own already. There just isn't a buggy body that I've found that would fit right. Giant buggy and 5th scale Mojave is all in missing.
I got a Typhon on sale, liked it so much I got the TLR and gave the original to my brother so we can race em. From all I've seen, Corally is on par or a little nicer, but part support just not as good for US folk. Also, Losi does make a 5th scale 4wd buggy, the DBXLE or something like that. Looks amazing, but the price tag is just as amazing.
@@BeardRubEnjoyer I actually had a DBXLE. I bought it last Father's day sale. They had it marked down $200. It just wasn't what I want. I literally want a 5th scale Typhon. The losi isn't that, it's closer to the 5t or SBR 2.0. I bought the DBXLE and SBR 2.0 really close together thinking I was getting a big Typhon and big Mojave. I got neither. I was really disappointed. They're both really good but not what I wanted. I sold the DBXLE and still have the SBR 2.0. I really wish Losi would build a new electric 5b buggy. That's the style I'm after.
Just watched Kaos RC back to back run of the Asuga and Vorza Truggy. The HPI is low-slung for a truggy, and it looks like it might be the most comperable RC to the Asuga discounting of course the big tires and truck body. Put the same tires on both and perhaps they would have a similar driving characteristics.
Omg, that location!!!🤩
What a spot to run rcs on. Everything from 1:10 to 1:5 can be run there.
I would sell my soul to have access to such a spot...
even some 1:16 cars would love that, like the mini revo, at least, until it cartwheels into the puddle LOL

thanks, you got a pretty awesome location yourself!
@@RazorRC thanks mate
Been looking to get back in to RC and this video popped up. Must be a sign. Just placed an order, can't wait!
From where? Direct from TC website is expensive.
@@stevenmendoza9477Straight from their website. It was $591
Also I’ve been out of the RC game a long time. Can someone recommend a decent 6s battery/charger for this thing?
@RcSpeedFreak-kk8wjsays 659 RTR directly from their website which includes VAT shipped to US. Am I reading something wrong dude?
You won’t be disappointed! I got the roller and going to get the rtr for the electronics and spare sparts also so I can see the hype of the electronics lol 😊
Great that they offer a roller. I don't mind non-adjustable links at all. This is on my list.
yeah, the links are fine especially since the cars are tuned so well out of the box

Do it! 😂
This remote control doesn't have a little lag in starting when you press the trigger? On my Sketer it does..
Nope, instantaneous power.

This thing looksa beast. 🤘
Would be great to find a cool outdoor
Place like this in Jersey
It does look like a really nice Buggy! I have been hearing great things about it 👍
Pretty sure the initial batch of arms was weak. I broke mine and as soon as I changed them I’ve never had an issue
Thanks, yeah my replacements have been holding up.
I have been looking into getting a TC for a while, but I just can't choose. Since you have most of them, in your opinion, can they race along the lines of the Losi 8ight?

No plans to get the current Tekno
She's huge! I love the size for some of the bigger tracks and off road.
perfect for this size track
@@RazorRC I need to get my hands on one
That water was prime to skip through, or cartwheel into 😆
I was trying my hardest not to roll in there!
Does the remote it comes with have the power switch to increase and decrease power like the arrma 6s remotes do?
No
@@RazorRC thanks for that 👍😀
Hey, love your videos you have great content. Question. Do you ever bend hinge pins?
Sure, not on this car, but I have on lots of other cars.
Every thing on here is the Best ?

It’s an awesome truck I recommend it I have arrma products but to me team corally is becoming my favorite
Love your videos. Always good info. One thing I wonder about this buggy. Does anyone make upgrades for team corally? Any aftermarket companies support corally?
Yes bro m2c makes some and vivaton highly recommend this or the kagama asuga for normal bashing and kagama for stunting and jumping
@@TMIVRC Also, Corally make a lot of 7075 upgrades for their cars.
@@RazorRC honestly considering selling my arrma line up minus my big rock 6s and Mojave 6s exb

I think the rtr is worth the price. I'm pretty sure you can't build it for that price unless you're going budget on electronics.
