I lost my mum 6/5/2024. When I and my mum talked on the phone talking, she will just say suddenly, I can only imagine what Heaven will be like. She will say it with joy in her heart, "it must be beautiful" She died at 89 a devout Christian. I can only imagine you smiling like the sun seeing Jesus. Thanks for being my mum. Joyful years of my life. ❤.My greetings to my dad and those you know who died in the Lord. But we have a hope in 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18 till we meet again! ❤
I was incarcerated the year 2000, I heard this song right after I was sentenced to serve 20 years in prison. I remember looking out a tiny window listening to this song and asking God how I can do 20 years. After serving 15 years I was released in 2015. Being a Christian In prison was not easy but God was there for me every step. After being out for 7 years although I have not lived a perfect life, I have been truly blessed. Every time I hear that song I go back to that window
I am sitting alone in the same recliner I received 5 years ago as a gift. Brand New. I rarely get off it except for bed time when I went to bed. Even then, i sometimes spent the overnight just sitting and burying myself in my headphones and listened to christian music just like this one (my favorite of all time) I learned in the 3rd grade that I had ADHD I "just wasn't right" my dad said. I spent time in school looking at the trains go by. Spent more time looking out the window than I did learning. As the years went by i became severely depressed and isolated myself from my friends. I "no longer fit in" i was 16 in the 8th grade when my dad pulled me out and I started working at his construction company that made me close to being wealthy. I made tons of money but i spent it foolishly on big ticket items and I drank a lot of beer every day with my dad after work in the backyard near the pool. The good old days. I finally found construction to be boring and quit and got a job as a police officer. I bought a house, got married, and eventually had three kids. We had a lot of fun and I loved my job. As the time went out i spent a lot of time at the bar and started drifting away from my wife and kids. It took 14 years and had to quit the job of my life due to a combination of drinking and depression. My wife eventually divorced me and my kids don't visit me as they may love me but they don't like me. I lost the house and my world fell apart. My police job, my house, my family, my friends. I couldn't take it anymore. I took all my prescription medication at once with no memory of what happened. I spent 2 weeks in critical condition in the ICU. They saved my life. They fed me through a tube, kept my heart working with a ventilator and everything they could do to keep me alive and breathing. I pulled out, went to physical therapy for two weeks and was released. Only my son stood by me. But we no longer talk now. I had to move into an assisted living facility as I couldn't do anything. That was 10 years ago. My depression never went away. I am so very depressed right now it hurts. My symptoms are much worse. I tried suicide a few times and I almost succeeded. I'm thinking about it again. If I still had my gun i would definitely not think twice of using it. This post is way too long and I apologize but I have only this song keeping me sane. I've turned to Jesus and my life is slowly coming back. I am now playing the keyboard in our 4 member Christian band everyplace we are invited to. Unfortunately, this lasted about 10 years and I got booted out because I wasn't Christian enough according to the band's leader. I'm just existing now by staying away and isolating myself. The only thing I really identify with now is this song. I play it once, twice, three times a day and it has kept me grounded
I was Muslim and converted to being a follower of our lLord Jesus Christ..I prayed to God one time with all my heart and asked him to show me if he’s real then Jesus came into my life. I had turned my back on Christ and had followed the world. After a night out of drinking and partying, I had put an RnB/Hip Hop cd on, with all my favourite songs during my clubning years. This song came on and I didnt realise it was on the cd. I was about to change the song and kept listening to the lyrics, I cried and wept as God spoke to my heart that night and not only did he speak but revealed himself to me in a vision. I broke down and wept so much, How could the GOD of all gods reveal himself to me in that state? The King of Kings and Lord of Lords came to me and said HUMBLE YOURSELF BEFORE THE KING. I was overwhelmed by his presence that radiated with love,compassion and mercy. This song is truely anointed by the Holy spirit and will continue to be dear to my heart. May this song continue to speak to peoples hearts through the Holy spirit and may Jesus Christ continue to work through the hearts of yhose who've turned their backs, who are broken and who are lost in this world. I was listening to this song when I was on my knees, crying for my mom’s health. I was devastated because she has cancer and wasn’t doing well at all. God talked to me through this praise, and when I opened the Bible, it was Psalms 27. God confirmed that we should just wait on Him. We still need a miracle, but now we have faith and praise while we wait! My mom is a woman who follows our Lord’s words, and I ask you to pray for her health as well. Her name is Maria Juracy and she has a serious Lymphoma.

My story in a few sentences: Went to church as a child. Then lost my faith in God because of false friends. Got it back a few years later and even startet a trainee as a Bible Teacher. In the middle of it, I suddenly came to hospital. Had a tumore in my head. Survived it. Then worked a few years for God until I got ill again with a second tumore. Also survived that and went on working. Unfurtunally, actually I've been diagnosed with the third tumore. But, after all, I still believe in God and I can only imagine that he's still got a plan for me

I was raised Catholic and have strayed away from my faith. I spend too much time worrying about my life here on earth when I should be working on life after life. Eternity. I sing this song a lot in church services and it brings new meaning after I lost my son in 2014 and lost my father in 2021. I can only image now how we are going to be reunited again someday.

I’m one who has always had a very strong faith in Christ and that’ll never change. He saved my life over 34 years ago I remember going to church and singing Amazing Grace and after words I looked up to him and said thank you father I’m yours forever. I had tears of joy. And just like the song I can only imagine says I can only imagine what it’ll be like when I walk by your side I can only imagine what my eyes will see when your face is before me. All of that being said I can only imagine. His love for us is truly amazing.

I played this at my dad's funeral after I gave a speech on how special he was to me. He died less than a month after my wedding, but I'm thankful to God that he was able to be a part of the wedding. My biggest regret is I didn't say enough to him before he left because I was in the middle of my wedding pictures with my wife. If I knew it would be the last time I saw him alive, I would've hugged him so hard and told him how much I loved him. Miss you pop.

When i was bone my parents passed away, i grow up in orphanage and i was so lonely because i thinked that i was a mistake to everyone and God also but day buy day i prayed that i can work for God in the rest of my life because i saw how christians are so happy and i hoped also that i can become like them . Yes, YOU ARE NOT A MISTAKE, YOU HAVE PURPOSE. No more are you an orphan but the Heavenly Father has now taken you, he has you, and will not let go. Continue speaking to him knowing he is listening, God will soon reveal to you your calling, and how he wants to use you, to impact other lives of those who are even in orphanage and on the streets. It took me to be sick and homeless to open my eyes and go to God and ask him if he would help me help myself. Did he ever. My life is wonderful and returned where I shouldn't have left. Now. I have been listening to this song since I was in a booster seat as a kid and I still get the same exact joy listening to this now as a young man in my 20’s. I’m thankful I have came back to Christ and will continue to teach the blessing and joys Jesus beings to my children when that day comes. ❤️

At the end of the day I can’t even began to see how it’s gonna be to see OUR FATHER who gave us it all. I thank him enough for never give up on me especially when I sure didn’t deserve it. Snotting all over myself in a heap on the floor with the full magnitude of the lyrics and longing to be in front of Jesus. Listening now, 5 years after getting saved, still snotting on myself. Still longing to be before Jesus.

Another testimony: I was 16 when I was abused by a 38 year old man, after that I got addicted to stay in that “relationship” because I thought I didn’t have value as a woman anymore and no one would love me, only that person would desire me. All extremely sick. But then the Lord Jesus found me after a heartfelt prayer in which I told to whatever God I thought was there: Please save or I will kill myself because I can’t stand my life anymore. I need you. Soon after that a person came preaching me Jesus and thank to our Lord and Savior I got out of that situation, of the diagnosis of depression as well and I could forgive my abuser and wish him well ❤ All thanks to Jesus.

An assignment for my class brought me to watch the movie, ‘I Can Only Imagine‘, which then lead me to this amazing song. This movie taught me four main things: 1)how important forgiveness is, 2) once God has given you a gift, he will put you through tests or trials in order to bring forth the gift the way he wants you to bring it forth, to take out whatever is stopping you for going all out with your gift and not blessing others the way God wants. 3) God can change anyone, no matter how bad, and lastly 4) let go and let God. Sometimes we hold on to things, not dealing with it, and they show up in our future, and they’ll keep showing up until we deal with them. Whoever you are, wherever you are, which ever point is for you, take it, and change your life others life drastically. God bless and love you all❤️❤️

My Mama and her brother and a cousin sang in their church and Mama told me how when they would sing on the way home the driver would have to pull over and be happy. I never understood that comment until, i was coming home from work one day, tired disheartened and not knowing what was in store for me. This song came on and i had to pull my car over and there is no other word for it i got happy. It was all i could do to keep from getting out of my car and dancing right there. So glad these young men succeeded and i got to hear this beautiful song which does the same thing to me today!

Im a devout christian and I surrendered my will to God. Right now he is calling me to be with a Christian woman who is a believer. Before I was with a non-devout Christian. Jesus taught me a lesson who and who not to trust. Good people are hard to come by these days. We need more good Christians in this world. God bless

I played this beautiful song at both my parents wake ( they passed 29 days apart). My daddy crossed over first ( truly got sick while mommy was battling lung cancer and emphysema). He just was so Ill God was good. Mommy passed 29 days after . Me my sister, brother were with her . She was suffering & being a Nurse my friend gave her Medication not to be in pain. I was playing my RUclips playlist on my phone on 4/21/23. I had placed my phone on my mother's pillow near her ear while I softly sang along to MercyMe - I Can Only Imagine. I was holding her hands and telling her it was OK to go and meet Jesus and be reunited with my dad. She took two small breaths as this song was ending. She went to eternal life in the most beautiful and peaceful way. This song always makes me excited to meet our Lord and Savior while bringing bittersweet tears of those who have already passed. I lost a boyfriend in a car accident on 4/7/21. This song was played at his funeral. I wasn't the greatest person for a long time. I was saved that summer. I practiced witchcraft for a long time and realized it was destroying my life. The tragedy of his death really got me thinking. All I could do was pray for God's forgiveness. I believe he has forgiven my sins. Even tho this song makes me cry still at times, it gives me hope that he is in a good place and that I will see all my loved ones who have passed again some day in heaven. I was so angry five years ago, and I found peace through the teachings of Jesus Christ. SOmehow I found myself regressing and falling back into the same anger. Sometimes, I wonder if we can clearly see that we are wrong; what's stopping us from staying changed. I then heard this song, and I finally realized. I stopped imagining, such a simple concept we teach our children. I can only imagine, how looking on his countenance will bring peace to my soul. Where nothing will matter, but joy and happiness. I lost my mum 6/5/2024. When I and my mum talked on the phone talking, she will just say suddenly, I can only imagine what Heaven will be like. She will say it with joy in her heart, "it must be beautiful" She died at 89 a devout Christian. I can only imagine you smiling like the sun seeing Jesus. Thanks for being my mum. Our mom’s passed away on the same day; mine was 37 and died from an infection that was in her C-Section. So, I am so sorry for your loss.
I was incarcerated the year 2000, I heard this song right after I was sentenced to serve 20 years in prison. I remember looking out a tiny window listening to this song and asking God how I can do 20 years. After serving 15 years I was released in 2015. Being a Christian In prison was not easy but God was there for me every step. After being out for 7 years although I have not lived a perfect life, I have been truly blessed. Every time I hear that song I go back to that window

I am sitting alone in the same recliner I received 5 years ago as a gift. Brand New. I rarely get off it except for bed time when I went to bed. Even then, i sometimes spent the overnight just sitting and burying myself in my headphones and listened to christian music just like this one (my favorite of all time) I learned in the 3rd grade that I had ADHD I "just wasn't right" my dad said. I spent time in school looking at the trains go by. Spent more time looking out the window than I did learning.
As the years went by i became severely depressed and isolated myself from my friends. I "no longer fit in" i was 16 in the 8th grade when my dad pulled me out and I started working at his construction company that made me close to being wealthy. I made tons of money but i spent it foolishly on big ticket items and I drank a lot of beer every day with my dad after work in the backyard near the pool. The good old days.
I finally found construction to be boring and quit and got a job as a police officer. I bought a house, got married, and eventually had three kids.
We had a lot of fun and I loved my job. As the time went out i spent a lot of time at the bar and started drifting away from my wife and kids. It took 14 years and had to quit the job of my life due to a combination of drinking and depression.
My wife eventually divorced me and my kids don't visit me as they may love me but they don't like me. I lost the house and my world fell apart. My police job, my house, my family, my friends. I couldn't take it anymore.
I took all my prescription medication at once with no memory of what happened. I spent 2 weeks in critical condition in the ICU. They saved my life. They fed me through a tube, kept my heart working with a ventilator and everything they could do to keep me alive and breathing. I pulled out, went to physical therapy for two weeks and was released.
Only my son stood by me. But we no longer talk now. I had to move into an assisted living facility as I couldn't do anything. That was 10 years ago.
My depression never went away. I am so very depressed right now it hurts. My symptoms are much worse. I tried suicide a few times and I almost succeeded. I'm thinking about it again. If I still had my gun i would definitely not think twice of using it. This post is way too long and I apologize but I have only this song keeping me sane. I've turned to Jesus and my life is slowly coming back. I am now playing the keyboard in our 4 member Christian band everyplace we are invited to.
Unfortunately, this lasted about 10 years and I got booted out because I wasn't Christian enough according to the band's leader. I'm just existing now by staying away and isolating myself.
The only thing I really identify with now is this song. I play it once, twice, three times a day and it has kept me grounded

I had turned my back on Christ and had followed the world. After a night out of drinking and partying, I had put an RnB/Hip Hop cd on, with all my favourite songs during my clubning years. This song came on and I didnt realise it was on the cd. I was about to change the song and kept listening to the lyrics, I cried and wept as God spoke to my heart that night and not only did he speak but revealed himself to me in a vision. I broke down and wept so much, How could the GOD of all gods reveal himself to me in that state? The King of Kings and Lord of Lords came to me and said HUMBLE YOURSELF BEFORE THE KING. I was overwhelmed by his presence that radiated with love,compassion and mercy. This song is truely anointed by the Holy spirit and will continue to be dear to my heart. May this song continue to speak to peoples hearts through the Holy spirit and may Jesus Christ continue to work through the hearts of yhose who've turned their backs, who are broken and who are lost in this world. I was listening to this song when I was on my knees, crying for my mom’s health. I was devastated because she has cancer and wasn’t doing well at all. God talked to me through this praise, and when I opened the Bible, it was Psalms 27. God confirmed that we should just wait on Him. We still need a miracle, but now we have faith and praise while we wait! My mom is a woman who follows our Lord’s words, and I ask you to pray for her health as well. Her name is Maria Juracy and she has a serious Lymphoma.

My story in a few sentences: Went to church as a child. Then lost my faith in God because of false friends. Got it back a few years later and even startet a trainee as a Bible Teacher. In the middle of it, I suddenly came to hospital. Had a tumore in my head. Survived it. Then worked a few years for God until I got ill again with a second tumore. Also survived that and went on working. Unfurtunally, actually I've been diagnosed with the third tumore. But, after all, I still believe in God and I can only imagine that he's still got a plan for me

I was raised Catholic and have strayed away from my faith. I spend too much time worrying about my life here on earth when I should be working on life after life. Eternity. I’m one who has always had a very strong faith in Christ and that’ll never change. He saved my life over 34 years ago I remember going to church and singing Amazing Grace and after words I looked up to him and said thank you father I’m yours forever. I had tears of joy. I played this at my dad's funeral after I gave a speech on how special he was to me. He died less than a month after my wedding, but I'm thankful to God that he was able to be a part of the wedding. My biggest regret is I didn't say enough to him before he left because I was in the middle of my wedding pictures with my wife. This song came out right around the time I was born. Shortly after I was born my parents turned from their walk with Jesus and went back into sinning. When I turned 4 my mom returned to Christ and this is the first song I remember. I remember this song playing in our Vegas hotel room on a vacation we went on shortly before she became a Christian again. The memory is fuzzy but this song rings loud and clear

I have been listening to this song since I was in a booster seat as a kid and I still get the same exact joy listening to this now as a young man in my 20’s. I’m thankful I have came back to Christ and will continue to teach the blessing and joys Jesus beings to my children when that day comes. ❤️

Played at my grandmothers funeral 5 years before i got saved. Cried so hard i was snotting all over myself. Played in church after coming to the Lord. Snotting all over myself in a heap on the floor with the full magnitude of the lyrics and longing to be in front of Jesus. Listening now, 5 years after getting saved, still snotting on myself. Still longing to be before Jesus.
My baby sister's favorite song. She past away when she was twenty. four years old. My dad said a month before she died the church was singing , come home come home it's supper time. He was a member of the church board. He said he can remember looking out at her from the stage, during the song.
Another testimony: I was 16 when I was abused by a 38 year old man, after that I got addicted to stay in that “relationship” because I thought I didn’t have value as a woman anymore and no one would love me, only that person would desire me. All extremely sick. But then the Lord Jesus found me after a heartfelt prayer in which I told to whatever God I thought was there: Please save or I will kill myself because I can’t stand my life anymore. I need you. Soon after that a person came preaching me Jesus and thank to our Lord and Savior I got out of that situation, of the diagnosis of depression as well and I could forgive my abuser and wish him well ❤ All thanks to Jesus.

had turned my back on Christ and had followed the world. After a night out of drinking and partying, I had put an RnB/Hip Hop cd on, with all my favourite songs during my clubning years. This song came on and I didnt realise it was on the cd. I was about to change the song and kept listening to the lyrics, I cried and wept as God spoke to my heart that night and not only did he speak but revealed himself to me in a vision. I broke down and wept so much, How could the GOD of all gods reveal himself to me in that state? The King of Kings and Lord of Lords came to me and said HUMBLE YOURSELF BEFORE THE KING. I was overwhelmed by his presence that radiated with love,compassion and mercy. This song is truely anointed by the Holy spirit and will continue to be dear to my heart. May this song continue to speak to peoples hearts through the Holy spirit and may Jesus Christ continue to work through the hearts of yhose who've turned their backs, who are broken and who are lost in this world. An assignment for my class brought me to watch the movie, ‘I Can Only Imagine‘, which then lead me to this amazing song. This movie taught me four main things: 1)how important forgiveness is, 2) once God has given you a gift, he will put you through tests or trials in order to bring forth the gift the way he wants you to bring it forth, to take out whatever is stopping you for going all out with your gift and not blessing others the way God wants. 3) God can change anyone, no matter how bad, and lastly 4) let go and let God. Sometimes we hold on to things, not dealing with it, and they show up in our future, and they’ll keep showing up until we deal with them. Whoever you are, wherever you are, which ever point is for you, take it, and change your life others life drastically. God bless and love you all❤️❤️

My Mama and her brother and a cousin sang in their church and Mama told me how when they would sing on the way home the driver would have to pull over and be happy. I never understood that comment until, i was coming home from work one day, tired disheartened and not knowing what was in store for me. This song came on and i had to pull my car over and there is no other word for it i got happy. It was all i could do to keep from getting out of my car and dancing right there. So glad these young men succeeded and i got to hear this beautiful song which does the same thing to me today!

I played this beautiful song at both my parents wake ( they passed 29 days apart). My daddy crossed over first ( truly got sick while mommy was battling lung cancer and emphysema). He just was so Ill God was good. Mommy passed 29 days after . Me my sister, brother were with her . She was suffering & being a Nurse my friend gave her Medication not to be in pain. I was playing my RUclips playlist on my phone on 4/21/23. I had placed my phone on my mother's pillow near her ear while I softly sang along to MercyMe - I Can Only Imagine. I was holding her hands and telling her it was OK to go and meet Jesus and be reunited with my dad. She took two small breaths as this song was ending. She went to eternal life in the most beautiful and peaceful way.

I lost a boyfriend in a car accident on 4/7/21. This song was played at his funeral. I wasn't the greatest person for a long time. I was saved that summer. I practiced witchcraft for a long time and realized it was destroying my life. The tragedy of his death really got me thinking. All I could do was pray for God's forgiveness. I believe he has forgiven my sins. Even tho this song makes me cry still at times, it gives me hope that he is in a good place and that I will see all my loved ones who have passed again some day in heaven. I was so angry five years ago, and I found peace through the teachings of Jesus Christ. SOmehow I found myself regressing and falling back into the same anger. Sometimes, I wonder if we can clearly see that we are wrong; what's stopping us from staying changed. I then heard this song, and I finally realized. I stopped imagining, such a simple concept we teach our children. I can only imagine, how looking on his countenance will bring peace to my soul. Where nothing will matter, but joy and happiness. I will keep on fighting the good fight.

Saw the movie. What a profound effect it had on people. In over 50 years of going to the movies I have never experienced hearing people after there were tears. Even after the movie was over, I can still see people wipe their eyes in the lobby. That's how powerful this movie was
