Dear Petra! You have created a wonderful piece again. I admire your sense of color and the aesthetics of your work! I have to tell you that you inspire me a lot. ... but certainly not just me... Thanks you.
Thank you so much dear Patricia. There is a video to come when I tested this technique but achieved another design. Not sure yet when though because there are a few other videos I want to share too 😅💙💙💙💙
Very lovely. In the USA we would probably call your pattern of white "petals". Doesn't matter. Call it what you want. I have watched the resin courses video several times, but you are easier to follow. I have watched everyone of Julie Cuts videos on Larimar effect, in hopes that one day I will be able to imitate her skill. I am sure I will watch your dragon flower multiple times as well. Thank you.
It's a very beautiful but also challenging technique. It's so much joy pouring it, especially once you have success with it. Thank you so much for your nice words ❤️
Oh, you were saying Blue SLOTH, not Blue FLUFF! LOL - My hearing is not great. 😁 No, I am NOT fed up with this technique! Girl, this is YOUR channel, not ours. You do what brings you joy, ok? I love that you used drawing inks. They worked very well, and give a different look: more depth and transparency.
I would love to use octopus inks, but they're kinda expensive. 9.50 for one bottle. Will other resin tints work? Did you already have the light blue already poured when you started?
I have no idea about other brands. I used Octopus Resin Inks in some pours and in this pour Write & Draw Inks from Octopus. Both work for me. I pour like I showed in the video.... what do you mean when you ask if I poured light blue when I started? 💙
Never bored...I took the course too and love this technique. And yes, I've had to adjust the ratios with products that I have. I'd love to know how long your time lapse was...because I'm finding my center takes a long while and sometime doesn't close completely.
Funny enough it's always depends on the mold I am using. I poured in a bigger mold once and it didn't close after 30 min. But the effect I achieved was amazing even though the center was not closed. 🌸
Special THANKS to Octopus Fluids for supporting me with the Write & Draw Inks ❤️
Oh this is good to know. They sell the octopus writing ink here in Canada 🇨🇦, I have not seen the resin ink here yet though
Resin Ink you can get from Laura's Art Corner ❤️

Beautiful! I looks like silk!
❤ this. Beautiful. Very thick. Wow
Thick?
@@petragerbracht the mold is deeper than most so the finished is on the thicker side.
So so BEAUTIFUL ❤

Hi Petra, would love to see a Dragon Flower with no glitter in the center.
Thank you for sharing.
Maybe I will do it once but somehow I think it needs a little extra in the center 💙
