Interesting train at 2.00 to 2.58. It was a railroad on a moving railroad. There were rails along the wagon tops for moving all the track maintenance equipment in one go. I've never seen that done before.
Did I Spy with my little eye a "slug" on that CSX train going through Lagrange Kentucky, m6 favorite rail fan drama spot that has been very quiet lately?
16:14 Sad to see those DMUs go. They were really unique for what they were, but sadly, they didn't prove to be that reliable. The only good news about it is that now, with them gone, it's now much easier to get clear shots of Tri-Rail's yard since they're no longer blocking the view.
15:19 at first I thought: “oh nice CSX is starting to use concrete ties for a smoother and more stable ride, without as much track work!” Then I realized “no, they’re replacing them with wooden ties..”
@@bobsmith9947 Union Pacific and BNSF use them out west on their mainlines. Union Pacific uses concrete ties, and moveable frog point switches on their main line in Nebraska. Also, they last much longer than wooden ties.
@JoeyLovesTrains until the first derailment or the concrete corrodes from salt spray or freeze and thaw cycles. The BNSF tried concrete ties on the north main of the transcon between Joliet to Streator a distance of about 40ish miles the only stretch left is between Ransom to Streator about 10 miles now and those are scheduled for replacement next year. Why they're breaking down in the Midwest winters. Unlike the wooden ones in the south main right next to it.
@haroldbenton979 Whatever else about concrete ties the "salt spray" is not an issue as the Florida East Coast and Brightline are almost exclusively concrete ties.
@@kennethhanks6712 on top of that the LIRR is starting to exclusively use concrete ties even on grade crossings where corrosion from salt trucks would be the worse.
10:37...Too bad you couldn't get the license plate # of the Darwin Candidate. Send a copy of the video to the local PD. SURPRISE! As an officer shows up at their door...
Was that a party train going eastbound through Skykomish? 8:04 One of the cars was named _Stevens Pass_ - got a screen shot of that one! 8:20 🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃 Lovely window at the end 9:04 🚇 THEN #7 _The Empire Builder_ westbound as soon as "Party Train" disappears! 9:39 Great Catch! 🚈 😊💜
Congratulations to the newly married young couple...🎉❤

19:08 Congratulations to the married couple at Fort Madison. They were probably using the station as a backdrop.
Nice
15:11 The cars were definitely railroad "tied" up.
I was wondering where all my construction equipment was. Here it is in Roanoke (lol).

Heck of a lght show in the north east last night.
I assume those are concrete ties at 14:32 and again at 15:42? Either way that train at La Grange had some nice loads in the consist.
Glad to see more passenger trains!
23:30: No doubt about it, Mother Nature puts on the best light shows. Dang.
I absolutely love to watch lightning, I don't know why.
Congratulations on the newly wedding people
glasul roților de 🚆 tren și sunetul de la locomotive🚂😀

the ending is the lighting express
Cool
Was that an EMD funeral train at 20:50 or just going for some upgrades?

At 17:51 yellow coupe ... "Bond? James Bond?"
18:47 Chessie!!
I know I keep begging, but could you please compile a video of all the best lightning and storms you've caught on railcam?
Love a good storm myself. Be great.....
Tri-Rail in Waycross? Obviously those were on their way to the Miami-Metro Area.
hello virtual railfan it's is randy i and yours video is cool thanks friends randy
i don't usually watch these but that lightning at 4:00 was p cool
18:37 that person that is on the screen is my aunt
What make of car is that @ 17:39 ?
HSC cam was going nuts during that storm as well i was hoping to see clips from that cam.

Were is the steam trains at
Probably in the warehouse where all the unused grammar text books are kept.
Are Those New Trains In 13:12 ?
Yes! Those are new trains for DART
At first glance, Fairport camera looks a lot like La Plata PTZ.
I still like the Chessie paint scheme better than CSX.
WHO knows anything about the DMU Demonstration project?
First. But I love this grab bags
