well, Poland used to be diverse before the USRR relocated people on a massive scale. It has been homogenous for half a century. It is enough for a whole generation of my grandparents to live through. For 18 years I lived in a small town in Poland and I had never seen a non-polish person there (I got the privelege to travel abroad quite a lot). I don't know if my grandparents have ever seen a person of colour. Many Poles aren't racist, just weirdly curious and maybe anxious because seeing a person of colour is not common. I had the same experience in krakow. I had a plan of visiting and staying the country for nine days but sadly I had to leave within 3 days. I felt extremely unsafe.

As a polish girl I'm extremely sorry. We deal with that shit a lot, and I often don't feel safe on the streets alone. I know some people are shit, but I also wanna emphasize that not all polish people are like that. I can remember beeing like 6/7 years old, when I went with my family to Berlin. We were in a subway and there were like 2 drunk guys sitting in the back and shouting their ass off and holding a vodka. Even tho I was small, I can remember being super ashamed hearing them speak polish. I understand the polish stereotype that "we" created for ourselves, but I feel sorry for people who want to escape from that. I really want people to know the beauty of our country, and the good people that we have. The people that helped the Ukraine and are still helping. My friends who let Ukrainian families live with them. And a lot of wonderful people who without complaining sacrificed their goods, time, health etc. for our Ukrainian brothers. I am an asian living in Finland for almost 4 years. Have been travelling to all Nordic country and many more european, african and also other asian countries. Never in my life i encounter any racist behaviour towards me or my family. Last summer my family and i travelled to Warsaw for 3 days. We got too many racial/religion abuses and treatment in those three days. My daughter even got cut throat sign from a man seating in front of her in a bus.

I don’t buy that story, video looks staged. I’m natively from Warsaw, and never in my almost 40yrs of age, had meet a person with negative stance towards Asians. Let alone racism. well, Poland used to be diverse before the USRR relocated people on a massive scale. It has been homogenous for half a century. It is enough for a whole generation of my grandparents to live through. For 18 years I lived in a small town in Poland and I had never seen a non-polish person there (I got the privelege to travel abroad quite a lot). I don't know if my grandparents have ever seen a person of colour. Many Poles aren't racist, just weirdly curious and maybe anxious because seeing a person of colour is not common.

As a polish girl I'm extremely sorry. We deal with that shit a lot, and I often don't feel safe on the streets alone. I know some people are shit, but I also wanna emphasize that not all polish people are like that. I can remember beeing like 6/7 years old, when I went with my family to Berlin. We were in a subway and there were like 2 drunk guys sitting in the back and shouting their ass off and holding a vodka. Even tho I was small, I can remember being super ashamed hearing them speak polish. I understand the polish stereotype that "we" created for ourselves, but I feel sorry for people who want to escape from that. I really want people to know the beauty of our country, and the good people that we have. The people that helped the Ukraine and are still helping. I’m down with you brother I was in Poland in august and randomly got CS gassed in my eyes and face at very close range. I couldn’t see for an hour, it burnt when I showered. I haven’t let it affect me mentally as he was obviously a coward. Luckily for him I was blinded and didn’t grab the guy. No one even helped me, I was with a white guy friend. I am an asian living in Finland for almost 4 years. Have been travelling to all Nordic country and many more european, african and also other asian countries. Never in my life i encounter any racist behaviour towards me or my family. Last summer my family and i travelled to Warsaw for 3 days. We got too many racial/religion abuses and treatment in those three days. My daughter even got cut throat sign from a man seating in front of her in a bus.

It's not just Poland but the rest of Eastern Europe which lived under the Soviet Union that is infested with nationalism, racism, and xenophobia. Keep in mind that many Poles in WW2 were more sympathetic to Nazism and Nazi ideology and even supported apartheid during the Cold War so not surprising.
