As others have said, these 7 Japanese girls, trained and headquartered in Korea, who perform in English (their mixtapes are in English, Japanese & Korean) are killing the kpop, jpop, whatever-pop game. I just got into them in March. They got a lot of videos, MVs and performance plus a documentary. If you thought the rapped good, wait til you hear them sing and dance.Trained since 2017, when the youngest of the group were 11! If yall wanna do more (the fandom will watch every reaction..lol), I'd recommend Left Right as you get to hear a vibe kinda sound then XG TAPE #2 (which went viral last year) then XG TAPE #4 to hear just the rap line of the group. I know that XG is on tour and NY as got to be on it. I also had the opportunity to check out Museum of Fine Arts (Boston) "Hallyu" Exhibit twice. I purchased the book last year in case the museum ran out. So in case some of the subscribers are in the Boston area, go check it out. The exhibit is about the rise of South Korea and K-pop. The museum also had some K-pop dances and other activities related. I thought the souvenir shop could have been brighter color-wise and I can't recall any K-pop tunes playing.

American artist in modern era sadly doesn’t do choreography much anymore. In the past there was a lot but now the backup dancer does the dancing for western artist. To become a xg member or any of the kpop groups, dancing choreography is mandatory. Even if you sing well or rap well, if you cannot dance then you can never make it in. They take what western music is known for and black culture hiphop and incorporate choreography in all of their music. Its mandatory on the dance choreography for all of their industry
