The first thing to go on that bag is the interior. I've had a few cheap messenger bags and inevitably that rayon crap on the inside always tears. Your best bet is just go to a goodwill or thrift store and pick up a 20 year old laptop messenger bag. A lot of them are built like tanks. I have one from the 90s that I've abused that looks exactly the same as when i got it.

Those cheap zippers will not last long and it will be the end 😢 unlike the leather bag where you can do any repairing
