Honestly he is probably one of the characters with the kindest heart and best intentions as you listen through his dialogue after you recruit him. The Mass Effect world is a lesser place without him.
@@LumberJackGamingN7 He's SUCH a great character, it's a shame most people don't get to fully meet him. But hey, in a universe where Mordin got this role, at least Padok is still out there doing his thing.
I wonder if you're supposed to draw the conclusion that Mordin was stronger than the STG director, given that Padok dies faster to the same wound than Mordin despite wearing a heavier armor, and that Padok got more hurt than Mordin when they argued despite the fact that he was the one attacking. ( He fractured his fingers punching Mordin while Mordin only got a black eye. ) Padok is also much younger. ME2's cast was supposed to be out of this world individuals, so I like to think that Mordin was not only academic smart and battle smart, but also a beast physically.
It would make sense. While Mordin was a damn good scientist, he also took part in field work. Padok himself admits that his own work on the Genophage was merely theoretical, while Mordin was the one who went with Kirrahe to help disperse the new strain.
I was thinking that maybe Mordin had more desire to correct what he saw as a mistake, which was his part in the Genophage. Either way though both scenes were heartbreaking.
I just replayed the whole series and Mordin ended up dying so I had Padok and he really grew on me... But I really wanted that Selarian support... This was intense! But in the end... my Shep just couldn't pull the trigger... Hope he won't end up regretting this
@Mr. Blue Is Too Smooth that's sad I feel like if mass effect 3 had more time to cook potentially that could've been a work around, still its already a very complex quest line already

Oh this is painful. :( He's just a genuinely good guy who wanted to put some good back into the world.

@@cfranklin2016 That's interesting, I didn't remember that bit of information. Thanks.

Or perhaps Sheperd is more decisive with the shot, so it hits somewhere more critical.

Wow. I've never seen this possibility, and it's easily as good as Mordin's.
I'm glad you enjoyed! I really enjoyed having Padok Wiks in the crew, shame it was so brief though.
Thank you for watching and commenting 👍
Has anyone found out if Wrex still learns that the cure was sabotaged if both Wilks and mordin are dead
Yes Wrex basically has to die if you mess up the cure

Mordin tried harder.
So this is what killing a unicorn looks like
Unfortunately so, he’s really the one of the characters with the most honest intentions in the whole trilogy.
Wait...unicorn? Any particular reason for why "unicorn" in particular?
My cutscene of this was bugged :(
Sorry to hear that, just watched it and it played fine on my end. Might have been your device, I’m not entirely sure.
@@LumberJackGamingN7 I think he meant in his playthrough
Good you deserve it you monster
Ouch :(
