    How absolutely refreshing to hear from a guy who has at least done some research. I thank you for that. I also thank you for helping support the very best hard rock band on the planet today. Their recent cover of Slipknot's Duality will blow your socks off! And you are right. I saw this band in LA last September and it was one of the best concert experiences of my life. Regards.

    My favorite!! They write, arrange and produce their songs. Kanami writes the base music, that is sent to MISA and Akane for bass and drums. Miku write the lyrics. With the "raw" song they go into the studio for finish and "fine tuning". This where they all input to get to the final version. Saiki is who says they are done.
    Stay Safe, this virus is REAL!

    I love that you continue to react to Band-Maid! I suggest you listen to one of their latest song Blooming. Has the best guitar solo IMHO. Also Saiki the vocalist is almost "rapping" in that song. :)

    You have not seen anything yet. Amongst my favorite live Band Maid videos are Take Me Higher, Don't You Tell Me, and Turn Me On. Then for a change of pace to help you catch your breath, check out The Rock In Me, which features Miku singing and being even more kawaii than BabyMetal.

    If you think that was a good show, check out their live version of Domination that they released last week. It's the best live recording I've seen out of them.

  • @Jp421JP
    @Jp421JP 4 года назад +8

    Think of the lyrics as another instrument. Just listen. You have no subtitles for the guitar sound. Miku's growling rhythm guitar says it all, just as Saiki's words do, even if you don't know their meaning, the sound is wonderful.

      Hey Robby, I’ve been following Band Maid since 2016, I’ve read your comments on several videos of Japanese bands, I’ve been reading your comment for a long time, it’s really rewarding when we see someone who feels the music, I’m not a musician, but I do, and these girls are too, perfect in every movement with their instruments, the world needs bands like this, where even the distance unites several people, a hug here from Boa Vista - Roraima - Brazil (google tradutor kkkkkkk).

    If you see the lyrics you'll notice this is actually a sad song, and if you hear the acoustic version ruclips.net/video/xdwNmzr-ipk/видео.html you actually get more of a feeling of that emotion.

    Try “Order” by Band Maid.
    One of early ones, but it has everything I like. There are so many favorites, and I can’t pick one. However, Order is still on the top of my list.

    I am not complaining but Saiki is doing anything but rapping. That makes me cringe when I here this.
    Japanese is the fastest spoken language in the world so in this song she is really only going at about 1/2 to 3/4 speed during the part you call "rap".
    Good reaction. Have not seen them live but hope to soon. Try the acoustic version of Puzzle and Anemone. These two is where I finally realized how fantastic Saiki truly is.

      @Teahuppo 33 Na ver
      Já comentei em outros vídeos seus, acho que desde a primeira reação a Band Maid. Pois é amigo, teve um canal brasileiro que reagiu mas bloquearam, e aqui também tem muita discriminação com essa onda de rock japonês, as principais mídias e fazedores de opinião "torcem o nariz" para essa nova mudança no cenário musical, e há também discriminação com nossos próprios artistas, André Matos (RIP) ex-vocalista do Angra, Shaman não era muito respeitado aqui, tinha uma base de fãs grande, mas as rádios, tvs, programas não lhes davam a projeção que mereciam, somente após sua morte houve algum respeito, aqui infelizmente desde a década de 80 não se produziu mais músicas de qualidade, tem um banda que gostaria que você reagisse chama-se Aruanda Arakua ruclips.net/video/aT6eLthDwUE/видео.html

    Im sorry, but I always laugh at people trying to pronounce Japanese names in English....Mikuou Kurbatuu. We have all the necessary sounds in English to pronounce Japanese easily. Mi-ku Ko-ba-to 簡単ですよね?

    • @VladimirChupin
      @VladimirChupin 4 года назад +2

      The problem with English is that its spelling is not phonetic. The letters change their sound depending on the surrounding ones. There is no way you can reproduce a sound in English, people will always confuse it. For example, it's not possible to write any combination of letters in English, which would convey faithfully the name AKANE. Akeyn? Eikeyn? Akan? Awful... Terrible.

    Please don't compare Band Maid with Baby Metal. The latter are totally manufactured bopping chipmunks fronting a good but anonymous band. Band Maid are superbly talented musicians who write their own material ( Kanami and Miku lyrics) and combine creativity with tremendous output. Each song gets more complex and clever. And their 2 hour shows are non stop excellence.

      I felt the same way at times, that there are too many pauses. But in the end, I appreciated it. After all, I came here to absorb some new information, some fresh opinion about this song. I've heard this song already a hundred times, probably.
      It's good to listen to the original Blu-Ray from time to time, of course, but when you listen to the same songs together with somebody, it's a different experience.
      I love it, especially when the reactor puts some thought into his reaction. When it's just "wow wow wow, what a great song, subscribe, hit the like, smash that bell button, goodbye, see you in the next video," that's quite boring. I love smart people, to be honest 😅
