@Cc0564 you aren't taking anything off meat when you "wash it", that cooking it properly wouldnt take care of. The cdc has over the years communicated that washing your raw meat is not necessary and is a bad practice as it is more likely to have you spread salmonella over your kitchen sink/surfaces.

I've never washed my meat all over the kitchen to cause contamination, usually in bowl of water or the kitchen. Then you disinfect the sink and that area with bleach. Real achiote doesn’t have too much taste and is more for color. Goya Sazon is salty af and most packets have garlic/cilantro/tomato added. I don’t like using Goya sazon anymore since it’s a mostly red food dye plus other additives instead of achiote. It’s good for quick flavor though 🤣
