In the Philippines, she was also offered to star in one of the local movies, in which she acted like a total diva & was not in good terms with one of the actresses & director which eventually led to the cancellation of that movie! Aside from that, she also decided she just wanted to puruse an acting career in Spain & she doesn’t want to do anything & be associated with Miss Universe at all. In one of her press interviews in Spain, she described her reign as what she thought was the best moment of her life was in reality the worst experience she ever had. 1974 Miss Universe was very controversial as well and the organization even pretended as if the pageant never happened! The 1st runner up Miss Wales also had her own controversy. She eventually became Miss World in 1974 & was dethroned because it was found out that she’s already a single mother even during Miss Universe. She hid it from the public that’s why she can’t also assume the Miss Universe title when Amparo resigned.
