Hello, I have an HP Deskjet 5525 printer and am encountering the issue 'yellow cartridge is missing or damaged.' I have tried swapping the blue and magenta cartridges into the yellow cartridge slot, and it then shows an error for the cartridge placed in the yellow slot. I have also bought a new 685 yellow cartridge to replace it, but it doesn't work. Could you help me figure out what the issue is?
fantastic - fixed our problem perfectly.. no land fill (thank you) we used a nurofen child syringe measurement - dropping clear fresh water thru the printer heads (careful not to touch the circuit board on the back) then a blast of air from the hairdryer.. THANK YOU :-)
Thank you so much for this video. I have an HP 5510 that don't print black ink or even the color properly I tried cleaning it but still it doesn't work. Thanks for sharing the models that use the 564 ink.
This printer 4620, It doesnt take photo black ink? I just noticed that I only have the 4 ports for ink and nothing for the photo as I see with other 564XL printers.
I have a HP 5510. I followed your instructions to a tee. Colors are beautiful. Still won’t print black. If I print a letter it prints in gray if I tell it to print in black and white it prints nothing. Do you have any other suggestions. Thank you.
Hello, yes I would recommend buying the print head cleaning kit (its cheap) Its in the description box. It comes with additional instructions and would be the next step. If it still doesn't work then unfortunately you need to buy a new printer. If you wanted to buy the same version there is also a link for that in the description.
@@BestPrinters Dear Sue Ross, iwth regard to your HP 5510 black not printing problem, you don't need to print the printhead costing 40 to 50 dollars, try my idea, keep the printhead on the center and remove the power cord from back of the printer when it is power on, after that put a small tissue underneath the printhead, and take some hot water in a syringe with flexible tube fixed on it, keep this flexible hose tight on the black ink port tight and flush the hot water very hard on the black port until your underneath tissue get wet, if your tissue get wet with water during your flushing, your black clogged ink port is cleared, after this hot water flushing done, clean up all the water deposits inside the printer, then try to fix all your ink cartridges including the black, and carry out a head cleaning process from your printer display menu, it will print your black now, try this, if work successful, send me an email (ashqaniroza2010@yahoo.com) Rizvi.

Hi, unfortunately these error codes are very persistent. It may be time for a new printer.

No problem!
I cleaned the printer head as you showed several times ran a clean on tools and it did not print in black and a few of color ink is light.
Why will I damage it if I take it out?
It gets damaged and sets off a code
@@BestPrinters don't they sell them though to be replaced? They're must be a way to replace them without damaging them

Did this and didn't work for me. All colors work except black.
You will need to repeat the process then.
