It feels like im studying, and the solo q is my exam. I just wanna play the game..
I once was stomping botlane, like 2-3 levels ahead and my toplaner said that I ruined his lane for him because I froze for the enemy. I didn't know how and he called me a retard, now I see what's the problem, that 2% thingy buff based on levels. I didn't even know that was a thing and I was D1 at the time, you can always learn something new, I guess
"hector was lucky, dodged the dive by help of his midlaner, it wouldnt happen in low elo" in low elo they would never plan a dive during laning phase in first place :d
Sure, your midlaner might not help you in low elo, but also you're not gonna get dove in such a coordinated way in low elo. It'll be at most top and jungle instead of a 3 man, and they'll execute it worse.
Ok, but what do I do when the enemy is actually good at freezing and just sits under their own tower literally the entire game and if I try and come for EXP I get murdered by them? because that's ACTUALLY what happens to me lmao. Top is the one role I refuse to play anymore, it's so disgustingly unplayable for bad players, and then their top just steamrolls my entire team.
Even if Garen was at the health he was, he would likely have died during the dive without Galio R to save him. He may have been lucky where the enemy team played it out poorly and gone 1v1 or maybe even 1 for 2 (sure, 1 for 3 could be possible but that sounds like such a botched dive I don't think it's worthy to consider), but he would still have died, lost a bunch if not all plates, 1-2 or more waves and be extremely behind Aatrox to the point he could probably not 1v1 Aatrox after that point. Since he may have been forced to use flash as well, it would be easy for the enemy team to repeat dive him after that to capitalize on the lack of a flash and put Garen even more behind Aatrox since he would likely be 1 or more levels behind from that as well. And you can't count on the enemy to always misplay in order to gain leads in these situations. While I understand the fundamental here is "stay healthy", I think it's extremely misleading that they're not addressing what would have happened if Galio had not gone up there and how the result of that would have changed the matchup as the game progressed, because something like that can change the entire course of the game. Because you can't honestly try to sell in a success narrative *and* then not also address the factors from the enemy team that made that actually possible. And I think that's a big issue I got with SC in that fundamentals are too wrapped up in trying to sell players a narrative. If they're interested in fundamentals, then focus on the fundamentals, not showing how sticking to fundamentals led to a randomly good result. Because you can't rely on your jungler or your mid laner to rotate over when you're being dove, because that's unpredictable. So that Garen got a kill on Aatrox because they misplayed is actually honestly irrelevant to the fundamental they're trying to teach, even if it's correct (and let's be honest - below a certain elo threshold your jungler or mid laner is not going to give two shits about your HP under tower because chances are they're not going to look once at your lane and how it's going except the rare moment they see the enemy top laner being on a killing spree and you being 0/3 and down a bunch of cs and levels and then blame you for that game state even if it's something they could have had a big impact on - and neither will honestly the enemy jungler either). Alternatively, in the very least discuss a situation if Garen did not get a kill on Aatrox but instead died under his own tower and how Garen is now forced to play from behind in a losing matchup early on even if Garen outscales Aatrox as the game progresses. Because I think these situations are more relatable to the average player than Galio using R and Hector getting a lucky kill on Aatrox because for some reason they did not track or consider Galio R during the dive. Also, I do think a lot of why the game went the way it did for Hector was because he played the micro aspect of the matchup really well. Most players would get hit by Aatrox sweet spot damage and that would be just it for them. So please less "we considered that but we didn't think it was important" and more "how does that result change the game and when that happens, how do we deal with it?" . People aren't bringing up these counterpoints because they think it's what happens in their elo, they're bringing up these counterpoints because they want to know how to deal with the results of these decisions and how it changes the state of the game. And it's quite condescending to the viewers that you brush off their concerns like that, because you're essentially implying that their questions aren't valid.
Is Garen VS Aatrox really that bad of a matchup tho? You can' t respond to his poke early, but you can probably sustain through it, n then then later on counter his combos with silence and then outplay him by pressing R.
I legit dont know if aatrox counters garen. I mean yeah, the early levels are miserable, but that doesnt mean he counters it, after lvl6 with ignite garen can run him down, and he has a lot of ms to avoid all the Qs sweet spots. Not trying to say that it is not impressive to beat Sumday on aatrox, at all, just that i dont think its really a bad matchup.

The creator is having some hate/love relationship going with Hektor xD
That Garen ult at the start dealing 500 dmg gives me ptsd
That was a cool bit of macro!
wanna see this in grandmaster
best guide of 2022
Is Garen VS Aatrox really that bad of a matchup tho? You can' t respond to his poke early, but you can probably sustain through it, n then then later on counter his combos with silence and then outplay him by pressing R.
Now play this with a trackpad, 10fps and a pregnancy test as a monitor

Now we need to se gumayushi kalista vs hector garen blindfolded no hands challengue xd
I love how they shit talk poor hector for no reason
Great video. More like this please!
if the rest of your team loses, well , you cant will all of em
None of his safe play would have meant anything if his team hadn’t been stomping.
Good video! I hope y’all do some in other roles too :)
Show this video to pro players xD
