I have 2 Outbacks. A 2022 Premium for the wife and a trimmed-out 24 XT Onyx for myself. They're pretty good. The tech is a little quirky but you get a decent amount of options to adjust them closer to your liking. The 2.5 accelerates more smoothly but is a little under-powered. The 2.4 turbo has plenty of power but between the simulated shifting CVT and the turbo lag, the acceleration can be pretty choppy. MPG is not great, less than 23 in either car. I'm quite satisfied with both Outbacks but they're not perfect. I probably should have saved some money buying a Camry but I like the extra ground clearance, ride height, beefier tires, wagon styling, storage, AWD and overall versatility, so I went ahead and bought the car I actually wanted.
Actually ordered this same exact model, same color, same interior. Added the trailer package, have a small utility trailer I use once and awhile. drove the turbo and the non turbo, decided to go with the better gas mileage non turbo. Arriving end of July.
Wrong on the NA vs. turbo comment. The main advantage of the turbo engine configuration is that it uses a traditional thermostat. The NA version uses some janky plastic thing that has issues. Proper use, care, and, maintenance of a tuned-down Subaru turbocharged engine like this will last longer than you are eluding to.

This car just radiates quality. Not a bad price for this Subaru.
