So nice to see you Kate! Thank you for sending us a little glimpse of what you are up to and some beautiful Ireland scenery. Glad to see you are taking some time for yourself. Cheers from Canada!
So fun to see that I had a notification that you had a video up. I so enjoy your sharing. Beautiful landscape pictures ! Love this - just breathtaking views. Thank you for today!
So lovely to share time with you again Kate. Amazing projects and love your rounded toes! Having a w/e away in such a beautiful cottage in place of Rhinebeck is a wonderful idea. At least you have been there. Living in Australia this is unlikely for me, as well as the ones in Edinburgh, Shetland, etc. I did attend our local FibreFest recently and will live off those memories for some time. Looking forward to seeing you soon with more of that fabulous Irish scenery. 😊
It was so lovely to spend time with you this evening Kate, thanks for sharing your makes and purchases ❤ The scenery was stunning; Donegal is high on my wish list of destinations…hopefully I’ll be able to see it in person one day x
Every one of your projects is gorgeous, Kate. But that sweater!! WOW- a testament to your patience and skill. And such an amazing color! Thanks for sharing your lovely weekend away with us! 🧡
So good to see you, Kate, and your stunning knits! Love the colors and variety of sock patterns and textures. Brilliant idea for getting away on Rhinebeck weekend to have your own knit-fest. I might do the same next year. Thank you for sharing scenes of your cherished spot in northern-most Northern Ireland. I look forward to seeing you soon.
Wow! A lot of knits. Well done. That Love Note top is gorgeous. I have made 2, no, maybe 3, Love Note tops. I find TCK patterns are some of my favorites. Hope you enjoyed a weekend of quiet seaside knitting. Perfect idea in my humble opinion 😂❤
Loved your podcast today. Beautiful socks and sweaters. I too missed Rhinebeck but instead went to a sweet little sheep and wool festival in northern Vermont. Just what I needed.
Thank you Kate, have just started some leave and was catching up on my favorite you tubers, what a beautiful place you are staying in enjoy every minute.
It was so nice to see you back in my video feed. All your socks are lovely. I haven’t gotten on the DK sock trend yet. I love making fingering weight socks. I make most of my sweaters (jumpers) in fingering weight because I live in Arizona and it is the best weight for my winter month’s projects. The cottage view is wonderful. What a great place to go to. It would make me forget about Rehinebeck FOM too.
Oh Kate, even though you couldn’t join us in Rhinebeck, it looks like you had an absolutely amazing weekend away! Such beautiful socks and scenery! You are welcome to stay at my house and drive with us next year😊
I love how you suddenly put out a podcast Kate and it's been absolutely wonderful spending time with you this afternoon. You've persuaded me to make a Lovenote Sweater - yours is the nicest I've ever seen! And the long sleeved sweater you showed us at the end is another fabulous design! How I love the scenery you show us in Ireland - I hope I make it over there one day. Thank you so much for this Kate. X
What a lovely treat to see you pop up on my feed! You most certainly have been busy with the sock knitting, you're all set up for winter. You've reminded me to add Donegal to my list of places to visit, my brother got married in Donegal Town some years ago, and I bitterly regret not exploring the county more. My dad was insistent we visit his home village in County Leitrim...
I was so happy to see a new episode from you! Especially sitting alone at a hotel this evening, it was so nice to have your company, thank you! Sooo many lovely socks! Love your Love Note. I knit one earlier this year, and contemplating knitting a DK version as well.
Such a wonderful surprise! I love seeing your beautiful projects and your beautiful country. I always feel better about my sock-knitting obsession after seeing you. You and your videos are much loved! ❤️
Oh hello!! Look at you entertaining me this evening!! Your love note looks great!! And those peach-caramel socks are so pretty! You make me want to cast on socks!
So lovely to see you again, Kate. I am loving all of those socks. Donegal is the most beautiful county in Ireland, but I am very biased since I live in Donegal!
Loved seeing this. Donegal looks stunning (I’ve been only once so need to go back . All the socks look great and yes DK sock yarn is a game changer. I’m hoping to pick some more up at this year’s Layfamily yarn retreat next month. The little bag was so lovely that I may have just ordered myself one for Christmas I will be good and put it in the box. The sweaters are both gorgeous and I can’t wait to see the second finished .
WOW!! I would rather be where you are, Kate!! I have not been to Rhinebeck ,but it looks like Heaven in your country. My Dad loved it there. I am from the middle USA. Love all your makes. Your work looks almost machine -made with all of your beautiful stitches. See you next time, Cheryl

But what I wouldn’t do to spend time in Donegal, its on my wish list. I just need a new kidney and I will be there. The sea is so soothing to the soul

Why are the sheep painted?
Love your podcasts, thank you for sharing Ireland with us.
To mark which farmer they belong to. Although it’s the first time I’ve seen them numbered!
Missed you.
So glad to see you again! How many stitches per inch do you get on socks? What size needle?
In fingering weight socks I get 9 stitches per inch on 2.5mm needles and in DK socks it’s 7 stitches per inch on 3.5mm needles🙂
Welcome back Kate! Are you coming down to the fibre fest in Dublin on Saturday? xxxx
I didn’t even know there was one!!🤣 So, unfortunately not this time😞
