You can use any protein with this marinade, beef , chicken, and even pork. I've used the sauce on fried fish as well. My version, however, does not have sesame oil. That is more Korean flavor. I also use brown sugar instead of granulated.
Oh my- delicious and fabulous recipe! Thank u! It is too hot to grill (unless I get brave) but will try indoors and then cook on charcoal later when cooler weather. 🥰😋
Up to four hours or overnight doesn’t make sense. Four hours is correct for this recipe. You leave chicken in that much soy sauce for more than 6 hours you will have salty chicken. If you are going to leave overnight cut soy sauce 2 parts soy sauce to one part water.
Lawd...i jus watched her other parmo vid from years ago...saw this one and thought hmmm maybe she got better...uh uh not at all.what is that raw dough sauce she got on top of that chicken...not tryna be funny but most english cookin videos i watch are very basic with the seasoning...salt black pepper maybe a herb and some garlic and onions...no spice whatsoever...that blend of seasoning seems very bland...but kays blend is even more bland🤣🤣🤣🤣

I leave out the MSG, no need.
That is wayyy more than a cup and a half of soy.
I cheat and use Noh teriyaki mix.
