    Very thorough look at the new sticks. Great job! I know your main complaint with the helium’s was that they hurt your hands/feet, how are these in comparison?

      Wow! Good memory!! And thank you!! I definitely like them better on my feet. Honestly I'll have to think about the hands. Though I haven't noticed anything they are very similar to the heliums so I can't imagine it being different. Maybe I just grew to accept it and so it didn't notice it on these ones. But I'll have to think about it next time I use them. Thank you for watching!! It's much appreciated!!

      Thank you! I really appreciate you watching and subbing!! I would definitely check out the skeletors.. if Budget doesn't matter there may be some better ones out there. But all around these ones are top notch IMO. Thanks again!

    Those standoffs look pretty comfortable. Plenty of room for bigger feet! Great review. Thanks for doing the review

      Thank you! I like the added room for sure.. my feet tend to cramp the longer I stand on the steps but with these ones with the more room it gives it helps in that regard! Thank you for watching as always!! It's much appreciated!!

    I already have a coupe sets of sticks. One is a diy set and the other is the Tethrd One sticks. otherwise i would definitely buy a set of the skeletors. Great review.

    Good stuff there, brother! Ever since the Skeletor's came out I've wanted to get a set but my Heliums still work fine so I can't justify it. 😩 Maybe in the future I'll upgrade. 😂 Thanks for the review! Oh, and that review location looks really familiar???

      Thank you!! They are really cool sticks all around!! And yes, That spot is our little secret! Well not exactly! there are 2 ladder stands and a broken ground blind within 100yds of that spot. 😩 Oh well, it's public and maybe time to move! Thank you as always for your kind support! It's much appreciated!!

    I like how those stack. I have some helium sticks that have the rubber buttons to click together and they are bad to get undone…had to put cuts in the rubber to use them.

      I don't remember if I menioned it in this video, but I used to use the Hawk Heliums 30". I actually did a review on those as well. But I liked the Heliums. I never had any issues with the cup system. So long as essentially pulled them apart starting from the top verses straight away. No issues. But the skeletors are just better IMO in almost every way. I love mine. I actually still use a modified 20" helium for my 5th stick, but it's always my first one because it's just not as nice as the skeletors and I don't want to be using it at 20' up. Anyway, I appreciate the comment and really appreciate you watching the video. Best of success to you!

    I've watched several reviews on these and I noticed when people take them apart, there is noise. Do you know why that is or if it's something stealth strips would take care of?

    • @PBAdventures146
      @PBAdventures146  Год назад

      Im sure stealth strips would help just by the nature of what they are. I love stealth strips and have considered doing my skeletors. I didn't strip them intentionally because i wanted to see how loud they were as is. To be honest, I had no issues with noise the way i used them. In a video Im not overly concerned about noise. The way I pry them apart with my fingers its very quiet. Michigan Outdoors has a system as well he called the Groinal system for how he did it. But I take all 4 of them up the tree with me and its no issue with noise. One of my last full videos i showed my setup and system and how i used the skeletors to climb. Maybe that would help some. But in the real world situation, no issues with noise. Thanks so much for watching and the question! Best of success this season!

      I know right!? The bolt made it all the way through the script, but got axed in the budget phase! 😂 Maybe once I get to 10k subscribers, the budget department will have the necessary funds to keep it! lol... Thank you for watching!! It's very much appreciated!!

    1:40 what was that one for the spot in the ground all about? Did I miss that part of the video?

      Apparently 🤣 ... At 4:29 you can see why I had it laid out. So I could show you the length of the dinolock rope. Just a quick little snippet of the rope length. Thank you for watching! It's much appreciated!!

    these or heliums? which is preferred

    • @PBAdventures146
      @PBAdventures146  Год назад

      These ALL day long.. I did a review on the heliums as well.. 30".. they were fine.. but these ones are better by far. I recently did a video on my hunting setup and these are my climbing sticks. Some day I may get some beast sticks to try them out. But I have ZERO complaints of the skeletors. I'm actually trying to add a 5th for when I want to get really high. But unfortunately they don't sell singles.
      Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!

    What harness do you use for climbing/hanging sticks ? Suggestions?

    • @PBAdventures146
      @PBAdventures146  2 года назад

      I have the muddy climbing harness that I'll be using. I purchased a linemans belt that is like the shape of a seat belt. I have 2 carabiners for each side for easy on and easy off and there are two loops, one on each side of the safety harness to clip into. Thank you for watching and for your question. Hopefully that helps!

    The origional lone wolf sticks for a total of 12 steps are 10.5 pounds. Nobody has brought that upnyet

    • @PBAdventures146
      @PBAdventures146  2 года назад

      Do they have the steps on both sides? That's kind of important to me. And I don't believe they are as compact or stackable as these Skeletors but I could be wrong. I certainly don't have a knowledge of all the climbing sticks out there. Thank you for watching and commenting. It's much appreciated!

    Is anyone currently using a skeletor in a one stick climbing method? Thoughts?

    • @PBAdventures146
      @PBAdventures146  Год назад

      I'm not aware of anyone using it for one sticking though I don't see why you couldn't. I have a friend who uses the regular hawk helium but he put a platform on it. It seems like most one stickers are now switching to something that has both the stick and platform attached. But again, I see no reason why someone couldn't.. Thank you for watching!
