They’re at their best with the longer tracks (humble opinion of course). There is so much growth from the last record. And the production?!? Oh baby!! I dig James & Co’s song structuring, the effortless transitions (which allow them to go wherever they so please), and the way that they fill space. Anyone else notice how many different snare tones they had in single tracks (multiple songs have this)? And they added heavy breakdowns on this record too (something missing from previous LP’s).

I agree, the longest two songs on the new album are probably my favourite!

Charismatic Leaders is a phenomenal album. Unfortunately too many people write these gents off because of bands like Tool (Trivium dealt w/the accusations of being Metallica ripoffs 🙄). I absolutely love Tool. Never have they been this heavy. Anyway, I’m catching Wheel with Aviations this Sunday in Chicago. Thank you for uploading this and keeping it Wheel 😆😝

Nice pun! :) Wheel is a great band and hope they will get the credit they deserve!

@@BelgianJasper - Thank you but it was James who first pinned the ‘Keeping It Wheel’ lol. Again, thank you sooo much for doing this interview. Anything Wheel related on RUclips (interviews & album reviews) are few and far between. Appreciate you 🫵🤘
