On target and on time, the DM can make the difference in a fight. 🇺🇸

i think the older sdmr was a nicer setup. This is just a m27 with a magnified scope.

The Marines are also fielding a 7.62 M110A1 per squad. That gives them the option to rebarrel to 6.5 CM at a later date.
In truth, the corps is going to update all M27s to this configuration soon
Suppressors and 1-8x optics for all guns.

The dead hajis we've left behind says different. I've traded stories from a buddy who worked with a guy with the MK14 and he couldn't count how many times they needed to get him more ammo because of how much less he could carry vs their M4s because it uses a different round.

@Nick 718 I knew a guy who carried 10 mags on top of an M16 with 2 mags coupled together.

Lol. The 5.56 is fantastic from cqb to 500.
The corps is also fielding 1x 7.62 rifle per squad along with an 84mm Gustav.
They also usually have an M240G attached .

At least the Marines have their own DMR Variant of HK417 that chambered 7.62x51mm NATO with range of 800 meters, the M110A1.
