Same here! I found this channel looking for answers. I've been loving nature since I was a young girl and it keeps calling me. I prefer hanging out with animals and trees rather than hanging out with people that don't share what I feel. I'm super new at this and want to learn more. I'm 57 years young :). It took me this long because I felt confused and weird. Anyway, I truly agree on what she says and totally love her videos. So relaxing and lovely.
You are doing just fine. Don’t over think it so much. Go with what you feel is right. I’ve enjoyed all of your videos. Love listening and watching you. I’ve learned a lot in my craft and herbalism from you. Patience with yourself and organization will greatly benefit you in the long term. I think what you call "awkward" is just thoughtfulness and a touch of shyness which are very endearing, so I say look after your energy and do what you feel you want to do, your viewers appreciate it:)

I recently moved my ancestor altar from the bedroom to the living room per their request. At first it was weird and not what I was used to. But now about two weeks since the move, I am realizing the importance of this. Sometimes shifting spaces a bit and refreshing spaces is necessary for ones spiritual practice.
Approx 7minutes in: yeah I would love to see the steps done visually rather than hear it. Idk about anyone else here, but I certainly need the visual and movement on how things go for you. Watching the motions give me a confidence boost to try it myself. Books and voiceovers do nothing for me unless I spend months obsessing over the steps until I have a so-so confident level to attempt. Maybe note somewhere in when you accomplished the task so that the idea of time isn't forgotten? It would provide me a reminder of when to do the next step, and also keep the confidence up as well.
I hope my opinion and perspective helps develop a direction for you, and maybe a voice for someone who hasn't put it into words yet.

Seasons Change, Energy is always Evolving, rearranging refreshes and gives an opportunity for consecration. A renewed space always brings on a celebration, a lavish meal of favorite foods and brews alight with candles and incense and rolling laughter. Megan & Alisha, enjoy those blessed moments. Bonding, nourishing, and loving your babies. My son's are grown men now: 48 & 39 yrs old. I remember, on days off, nursing on the couch. They would nurse, then nap, while I read a book. When they awoke, they could nurse again. All of these decades later, I am still close to both of them 💚

As a fellow overthinker this was an interesting watch. This is your livelihood and obviously means a lot to you so I understand why you are putting so much thought into it but at the same time I think you would benefit from letting go and being a little more spontaneous and free with your creations. We love your content, aesthetically pleasing b roll or not, and I personally find your craft and practice very informative to my own. That's why I watch your videos, because I value you and your perspective as a practitioner and your spell crafting. You could probably film your stuff on an iPhone 4 and I'd still watch it for the educational aspect and for your lovely, gentle and soothing energy.

I agree with the other post that said don't overthink things. Your videos exude peace, calm and knowledge for me. Don't change its honest and real and your videos are entertaining. Your teaching and herbalism are you and this comes through beautifully and resonates for me. I can get a lecture at a school lol the you in your teaching is what makes it special. And even when you think you are not teaching you are-observing how you go about things is teaching too.

I've found your chanel thanks to the witchy content , but I stay because of the way you make your videos. I love the calmness, the combination of music and picture. And I love the chatty parts/videos. It gives me another way to look at the world.
Everytime I get a notification of your videos , " I hope it's a long video" comes to my mind immediately. And that's cause I love spending time with you , hearing you talk about different topics and I love the way your energy flows and your mind works. I for one would be very down for more vlogy style recipe videos. Some of my favorite videos you've ever done we're rambling vlogy "I'm making this thing and taking you along for the ride" videos. Not positive but I think the video I'm thinking of involved elderberries. 💕
Like some of the other viewers that have spoken up I'm typically a quiet lurking type (very much a hermit, loner, introvert like yourself) and wanted to hop on here to just let you know that you are supported. I've watched every single video you've put out on both channels and love everything you do. I love the long cinematic experiences that remind me of the rush I always felt when I would read ancient faerie tales as a child just as much as I love the down to earth videos where Hazel is casually nomming on your hand while my five year old rhythmically taps his feet against my lower back. One moment I'm transported into the parts of magic that I adore, and the next I'm sitting next to you in my living room just trying to find a little quiet magic in a loud and chaotic world. Experiment! Wherever you go I will happily follow, because I'm here to see a kindred spirit to study and learn with. I think your idea of a vlog format is very good idea, especially if it resonates more with you now. I really enjoy watching processes and having updates on things instead of straight off tutorials (although I really like yours because they are peaceful and well explained), do what you think is right for you and the situation.

I really like your current vibe. You are more relaxed, more yourself. I like your subtle humor. These are things people follow. Anything that let's us relate, feel more like a friend that your showing something new to, is going to work. It's not the sound, or the structure that makes people watch. Those things are very nice, but it is the connection through the camera that makes us root for your success. Know your experiences are valuable, do work that makes you happy and fulfilled - the way YOU want to, then your spirt will show through, and people will watch. :) That's the recipe. As someone who also rambles, i totally get it, ive had people say negative things to me about it. To me, your videos feel like hanging out with a friend and just chatting. It doesnt feel staged or over the top, and thats why i like your content.

I personally understand wanting to improve your use of time; however, your videos (instructive and vlogs alike) have been a much needed and enjoyable element of inspiration to my life in various ways. I’m sure that I am not the only one that feels that way. ❤ Coming from a lifestyle of high intensity and constant go, often I do look for more videos that will get to the nitty gritty of what I might be looking for…but again, your energy has been a wonderful balance to that dynamic.

Also you should totally write a herbal book with your illustrations! I would totally buy one! Hard to find a decent herbalist book that has used multiple sources to make sure they're getting the correct information to others!

I know as a creator it is unsatisfying to ask for an opinion and all you get is ‘Do what ever you think is best.’ But I agree with so many before me. You have to be 100% comfortable and true to yourself in order to keep enjoying what you do and retain the unique beauty in your creations. Never force something on yourself, especially not to please others. Follow your impulse, then you will always be on the right path.
