      If you died TODAY, where would you be spending eternity? Have all your sins been forgiven or are you still hoping that you're a good enough person to earn a spot in heaven.
      The reality is that no one can earn a spot, our sin disqualifies us. But the God news is that Jesus paid for our qualification by dying on our behalf taking the punishment that we deserved.
      JESUS said, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son; that WHOEVER believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16
      Nothing is more important than your eternal destination. Please, don't say, "When I get older I'll get right with God' or 'I'll get serious with Jesus one day when I'm ready.'
      Don't wait any longer, today is the day of salvation. Get right with God today, for tomorrow very well might be too late.
      We invite you to REPENT and accept that Jesus Christ is Lord of your life by praying this simple prayer out loud right now...
      'Heavenly Father, I turn away from my old life and repent for my sins. I believe that Jesus came for me, that Jesus died for me and that Jesus rose again for me so that I can be forgiven and receive eternal life. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, receive the gift of eternal life. I ask you to fill me with the Holy Spirit and lead me for the rest of my life. In Jesus name - Amen.

It will reach a limit in certain moment, unless they are some kind of russian magnat or arabian sheik. They are doing different ways to capitalize and improve the incomings and that is unusual because there no one owner like them. But also agree that the managing is really refreshing. But for how long will their careers last? If wrexham get promoted this year. Who will they have to sell because they aren’t good enough for league 1. Most owners wouldn't even personally tell a player they're moving on, let alone say "look your time is going to be up here one day, if you need help finding something new we'll do anything we can". A lot of changes are needed in football (off the pitch) and this is a really good one.

      It should be a part of the final contracts the club plan to offer to a player, of any age. Either the club finds you a new club if you want a new challenge, or they assist you with a career change if you decide to move on from football. All of them have connections, so pointing players in the right directions would be no skin off anyones backs. Difference is, a lot of owners have likely only ever met their players once or twice.

If they can’t personally get into all these side endeavors then how can they help support others get into them. Same ballpark, but different application it would seem. Saracens claim there was no malicious intent to cheat the salary cap, but the way their 'deals' were set up were dodgy (Itoje for example receiving £30k/£30k/£35k over 3 years from a hospitality company ran by the owners daughter, yet he never did any hospitality events or appearances...). I imagine the way Ryan and Rob are looking at it is that if a player has something they want to do, the owners will get someone from their personal teams to provide advice on how to structure and grow, as opposed to offering their own money. Ryan and Rob are big time investors with big players, multi-million and billion deals, so I doubt they'd get financially involved at the level being discussed.

    This is clearly due to feeling bad for them knowing that if they do better and better these players won't be good enoughand theyll get rid. It's guilt. Not a bad thing though atleast they're self aware

    Socialism for the elites, brutal capitalism for the rest of us...
    My work won't give me the time to go to college to better myself but if you're a rich footballer you get lots of help!

      @ryandavies6609 4 месяца назад

      While I agree with you we are subjected to brutal capitalistic greed, your point doesn't really work. The problem isn't with a system in this case (and it certainly isn't an example of 'socialism for the elite'). The issue you have here is with the practices of a private company. Most companies will have the ability to do what Rob & Ryan are offering, they just won't, because if you and I aren't doing good enough work for them there's plenty of others out there they can easily replace us with - different story in football. When I worked in a company that manufactured metallurgical products, they told me if I wanted to become a manager or above they'd fund a part-time, evenings university course for me - so it does happen, your workplace is just shite.

Fair enough everyone has there side stuff but your league 2 now you wanna be doing everything you can to stay in the team and climb up the table. When you retire sure, its an amazing gesture just not sure about it now ? Not sure if im being overly critical

    because he is not "helping" you. he's investing in your business and more than likely intending to take a portion of what you are earning. The good thing though is both of them will use their fame to help build your brand, and that's gonna make you a lot of money.
