Practice Tool was made during covid to support my student around the world. Nothing fancy there, just quality explanation and some technics to improve by yourself!

Since Shifu Benjamin is reading the comments, I want to ask about something only this game does regarding downed opponents.
In Sifu you only have one option which is to kneel down, 2 brutal punches to the head and drag them back up on their feet which they immediately recover into combat position. Even when you have a weapon in hand.
In every other video game all the moves a player can do to a downed NPC will keep them downed for even longer if not straight up finishing them out right. You never "help them back up".
Is there a Pak Mei philosophical reason for how to treat a downed opponent or is it a Sloclap gameplay decision? Surely you have mocap for them more moves you can do to a grounded guy with and without weapons, they simply didn't use it? Or game would be too easy if you can just swipe a NPC and finish them on the ground.

Hi there, Sifu is a game period. If you really check the move, the main char do an arm lock to put the opponent back on his fist. The meaning is more about: "I am not done with you yet".
