Paula says people are right to be concerned about some of the stories coming out of the Palace, referencing the controversial brooch the Princess of Kent wore to a Christmas luncheon with the Queen as just one example. Piers questions what racism she is concerned about, given that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's claims on Oprah Winfrey, further pushed by Omid Scobie's latest book 'Endgame', both provide no evidence for the racist accusations.

I'm here to remind everyone that King Charles, Prince of Wales as he was then, gallantly and honourably and beautifully walked Meghan Markle down the aisle rather than have her walk alone. This is an actual actual factual fact. Charles broke the rules for Meghan. It was an act of pure love and selfless kindness. It was the greatest welcome. Personally escorted into the country by the king himself.

I think the biggest problem is that our King has allowed his family issues to turn into a soap opera. He has to work out whether he is the King of England, or a celebrated personality in a virtual reality TV show where his beloved son is losing his shit at a family meal, at the dining room table over something that someone in the family said once that might have upset him, but he’s not sure anymore because it was just a tantrum. And making it our problem by forcing us to take sides, because he’s found media, and a woman who possibly doesn’t have his best interests at heart, and has turned a whole lot of family pain into a media frenzied mess.
Where is our King? Shut your son down. Talk to him privately, but be a King.

The non-reveal of the names of the exact royal(s) who allegedly had concerns over the potential skin color of a future baby did EXACTLY what MM & PH intended it to do. It caused EVERY single member of the British RF to come under public scrutiny as a potential racist throughout the 3 years that followed the O show (it wasn't an interview, it was a show).
Harry's extremely overdue backpedaling during the TB "interview" in a poor attempt to retract what they did to the RF on the O show was unbelievable and a transparently self-serving effort to get themselves out of the corner they'd painted themselves into.
Their acceptanc of the ridiculous "award" they received for combating racism in the royal family as well as their subsequent failure to return it to shore up the backpedaling demonstrates that not only was the backpedaling attempt completely dishonest but also blatantly insincere.
So here we are today, with a supposed "big reveal" of the alleged royal racists via MM fanboy and chief propagandist, Scabies, and I am left scratching my head (a symptom often related to Scabies) as to why MM, PH, Scabies, the media or anyone else feels this "reveal" has any significance whatsoever now?
We've had 3 years to ponder which of the various RF members could have allegedly made the innocuous comments about what the bany would look like. My family is caucasian. Forty-four years ago, my sister married a black gentleman from Kenya. His parents, my parents and all of us siblings were sitting around the kitchen table, eating, drinking and laughing. My sister was pregnant at the time. My brother-in-law's parents made a comment about what skin colour my nephew would be. We laughed because we were all wondering the same thing. Not one person was offended. Why should anyone be? My nephew is now 43 years old, has two children of his own, and when I look at him, I see a beautiful, happy person who is blessed to have the physical traits of two races that came together in love and friendship. I have always tried to be sympathetic to Meghan, but now I believe a line has been crossed. This woman has managed to create a large rift between Harry and his family in only 5 1/2 years and Harry has gullibly gone along with it. I have my doubts whether this marriage will survive, and I'm certain Harry will regret going against his family and exposing his "dirty laundry" to the entire world. Everyone has issues, but they should be dealt with privately. I'm sure that the Royal Family will forgive Harry and welcome him back with open arms. That's just the kind of gracious people they are.

When My daughter-in-law was pregnant we were wondering if it was a boy or girl, would it be lighter or darker in colour and what colour its eyes would be. I think it is natural to wonder about those things regardless what skin colour the parents are.

And when Prince William godmother Susan Hussey press Ngozi Fulani "where are you from" and moved her lock from her badge to reveal her name. Ms Fulani said " I'm British born here." And when Lady Hussey continue to press saying "No where are your people from" and Ms Fulani felt why is she being so persistently, with the question. And Ms Ngozi Fulani felt traumatised that an apology was made to Ms Fulani. As for the skin color of baby Archie at that time, I believe that a discussion came up about what his skin color would be when he's born and coming from a senior royal it was inevitable that the truth would come out and to be honest why would his skin color matter?

Susan Hussy's question, in the context of the gathering, was an innocent question around which part of the world the woman's family roots originated. This turned into the most uncomfortable situation which was totally unnecessary. The woman's easy answer should have been "I'm British and my family originates from..." (insert country). Easy, without fuss!

Lynch mobs, Martin Luther King marching on Washington. Not Buckingham palace. Historically speaking British abolished slavery in 1808 I believe. It wasn’t abolished in America 🇺🇸 until 1865. I just make that point for what it’s worth. The civil rights movement was in America 🇺🇸 not Britain. There were blacks only signs in America 🇺🇸 not Britain 🇬🇧 My mom looks like Lynda Carter and is Irish/British. My dad was Mexican/Italian. His side of the family. Yes his were wondering 🤔 what color I was going to be. Racism has absolutely whatsoever nothing to do with it. Harry and Meghan claim they were kicked out of the royals when they are the ones that wanted to leave in the first place. When you leave a job everything goes with it. The company car, the desk, the uniform, the pass key, etc. It’s standard procedure for anyone. Racism hasn’t got anything at all to do with it. Christopher Anderson's book "Brother's and Wives, Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry and Meghan" ALREADY had named the person. It says it was Charles who wondered what his granchildren might look like, and the skin tone but never negatively intended. The book details the remark was said on the official engagement announcement day, Nov. 27, 2017, and causually reflected on because of Harry being the world's most famous ginger and Meghan's mixed blood. There was never any ill-intent or malice intended, and that Harry wasn't even there. He was told about it after, and was overly-sensitive to his biracial wife being accepted, he weaponized it when sharing with Meghan. If Anderson boldly and unabashedly named King Charles (then the Prince of Wales) years ahead (2021!) of Scobie, and gives the actual date, minute details, why is Anderson not being vilified for announcing who it was? Why is he not being questioned about it now? He literally did interviews, like the one on the Today show, with Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie, where he discussed the matter of Charles' speculation. According to Anderson, William was informed and found it "tactless" but not racist. So, I am curious why is Scobie being given all this press??? Where did Anderson get his detailed account, its indicated as palace resources, how extensive is his research and fact checking (he seems to have a good journalistic reputation) for accuracy, and what are his insights into all this nonsense? Catherine's name is not prominent in Anderson's book about skin tone, so is that proof Meghan is deliberately spitefully gunning for the Princess of Wales? Piers, please talk to this author!!!
I read this book and had forgotten about that. It's been alluded to in several books which is why I wasn't shocked when this newest thing came out. The thing is that book just didn't have ppl waiting and talking about it like Spare and Endgame . Having said that I have respect for some of these authors but find Omid sketchy.
