Well hopefully because of the work that Reggie Photo and other youtubers do, they will all one day be like this Sergeant Stafford, because over time they will be educated that photography isn't actually illegal.
Oh how incredibly refreshing. Every police officer everywhere: Watch and learn! Look how easy and well it goes when you engage with no ego. This guy is a credit to the force and clearly proud of what he does. Brilliant! 👍
The cop was admirable; the dvsa guy was a "FOOL"...Shows the GOOD & BAD of even "safety policing of motor vehicles", cash generation, and hiding gypsies lol. Good info audit RP
Well done sergeant that was a great interaction with a photographer you came across as all police should interact with members of the public and filmer well done i dont drive but have learned something new through this interesting wee film keep up the great work
He might know the laws about vehicles, pity he doesn't about being in a public place. But I think he doesn't want his mates to see what he does, probably told them he runs the operation country wide.
That was really a great video and was great to see civil interaction from the officer engaged and how he was willing to share information even though as he says its not a routine part of his role.
I witnessed a sofa fly off the back of a trailer in the wind and break the back of a teenager who was fishing on a bridge. These sorts of inspections are needed for all vehicles IMO.
@Ben Paulley Traffic Coppers aren't bothered about travellers, if they don't play ball the vehicle will get clamped and scrapped, they might have trouble finding them and getting a home address though!
I prefer Reggie’s non-antagonistic approach. It gives them the rope to hang themselves. Conversely, it also highlights there are awesome officers out there too.
I've never encountered police working with DVSA or VOSA who threw their weight around. They are usually extremely polite. They don't want an angry driver going out on the road and being distracted so tend not to antagonize.
That was a good one , good copper respected ye rites , don’t let the numpty in sat in the car spoil it , he’ll be a failed copper always wanted to be one but never cut it in the exam ! So he’s got something that looks like a police car just absolutely no powers of one , that’s a pass ✅
Now theres a police officer that explains very simpely what traffic police are doing no nonsense what a perfect police offer he is and a few offers should learn from his professionalism in his rool,
Dvsa put their amber lights on and tried to pull me over in my truck. Amber lights mean nothing to me, I only stop for blue lights. They sent cops after me and I told them why I didn't stop , nothing done to me, amber lights mean nothing.
Plod was tuned in and realised straight away Reg was a you tuber....when Police say .they educate the public. it really pisses me off, they think the public are stupid and they are the teachers.
Good video and a great subject. I used to work for a company that makes on - vehicle weighing, including for vans, so no real excuse for being overweight, it’s cheaper than a fine and points in the long run.
The difference is with this man and the others is that he knows his field. Those that don't tend to get aggressive and authoritive to mask their fast track to policing and not really know what is what. That is why we are in the poo
Just in case anyone is in any doubt about DVSA using amber lights and Follow Me to demand you pull over or follow them to a place like this (car, truck or bike) : Highway Code Rule 107: DVSA Officers may attract your attention by flashing amber lights from in front of your vehicle. They can also request you to follow them to a safe place to stop. They might make a signal from behind your car directing you to pull over to the side of the road. As a rule, they will point and use their left indicator as a gesture for you to pull over and stop. Motorists MUST obey any signals given by authorized persons. It is a motoring offence not to comply with their directions.
Sgt Stafford, what a great guy. How refreshing is that, they should form a new unit to educate the tyrants on there interaction with the public and put him in charge. I suppose in reality he'll be taken aside and given a rollocking for being Mr Nice Guy and compulsory retrained in thuggery.
They need to pull a few foreign drivers. The ones that come over here with just a tractor licence and mysteriously don't speak the language when challenged !!
i got pulled on the m6 south near Bamber bridge i was empty all was ok but there was a lwb sprinter 3.5 tonne with 5 tonne of cans of pop on they got fined big time
@@ReggiePhoto I thought Sgt Stafford's reaction was genuine and it is an exemplary interaction with the public, especially with those of us who film. Imagine if this footage was viewed by every new recruit and current Officers? For this one reaction sadly there are literally hundreds more when Officers ask if they can help and this is merely their insincere opening to a fishing expedition aimed at incriminating innocent people. Top work mate.
I agree mate but once you agree to the terms and conditions of the licence and regulations you enter into contract which is how they get you. Even horse and cart have by laws that prevent us being as free as we should be. Always someone wants to dominate someone else, bully's mate
Nice guy . Can tell in first 30 seconds how its going to turn out now . All out Guns Blazing or Polite, Respectful .. These would make Great Training videos and this Sargant should be in charge of training ! The moment he said "MY TEAM " could tell he was going to be Great and he WAS !
That police guy is a total credit to the force. Professional and great public interaction.
Totally agree 👍👍👍👍
yes, and the dvsa guy was a total arse !
Sgt Stafford is a credit to the force if only more police were as polite pleasant & professional as him.
Here's a new one... Copper asks if he can help... Then actually helps.
promote this copper, hes a rare one with manners
It’s a shame he’s in the minority.
Very polite and very helpful to Reggie. If only they were all like this when talking to/with the public.
A+ for that officer, polite, professional and he didn't even try and get your i.d.
A copper who is polite, knowledgeable and knows the law. I should sue because I nearly fell off my chair :)
I DID fall off !
💯
Complete and 100% pass for p.c Stafford. This is how to interact with the public...
Image if all coppers were like that one 🤔
Top guy 👌
Sgt Stafford is one of the most polite officers iv ever seeing on a audit 👮♂️👏👏 great video reggie 👏💪🇮🇪🇬🇧
This is a lesson to the rest of the Police in how to speak with the public. Top guy that Sergeant. Respect.
Sergeant Stafford....SUPERB 👍👍👍👍
Why can't they all be like this officer , polite respectfull and not acting like a tyrant .refreshing to see, respect is both ways
Brilliant! 👍
You're 100% right my friend !!!!
Hats off to this police officer, he really knows how to interact with a member of the public and is certainly an example to all other police officers.
First police officer shows how it should be done.
Wow... I didn't think he was a copper at 1st, because he was so polite , friendly and knowledgeable.. Well done that man
That cop was a breath of fresh air. A few more wouldn’t go amiss.
Great interaction respect the copper was professional at all times hard to find these days.
Absolutely refreshing to see this guy.Well done. And well done Reggie.👍
The first rozzer was spot on, professional, polite and informative, well done to him,. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
This copper is a credit to the police force
Thats kind of interaction you need from a copper the 1st one , that road guy lol
Sgt Stafford.....well done such a nice way to interact promotion should be imminent.
What a credit that Police Officer is to the service. He needs promoting. A consummate professional with a human touch. My hat is off to you Sir!
The cop was admirable; the dvsa guy was a "FOOL"...Shows the GOOD & BAD of even "safety policing of motor vehicles", cash generation, and hiding gypsies lol. Good info audit RP
The coolest cop I've seen on audits , why can't they all be trained like this bloke ?.
Credit where it's due, this guy is a credit.
Well done sergeant that was a great interaction with a photographer you came across as all police should interact with members of the public and filmer well done i dont drive but have learned something new through this interesting wee film keep up the great work
Brilliant William respect thanks for your comment 👍👍👍👍
All going well, there's always one, who's got to give his orders
Unfortunately mate 😕
Yes as usual it's the fat twat who can't get out of his car
Poor old grandad he was just thinking how to get back to the nursing home
He might know the laws about vehicles, pity he doesn't about being in a public place.
But I think he doesn't want his mates to see what he does, probably told them he runs the operation country wide.

WOW, that officer was informative and seemed genuinely liked to talk to the public. We have only experience that once. Nicely done.
Nice guy
@@ReggiePhoto He certainly was. Thank you for another great video. Stay safe.
at last someone with brains, well done copper
Top guy he was fair play 🤘

Sgt Stafford. Absolute credit to the police. More like him please.
I’ve been pulled a few times most are ok but you always get the odd one who thinks your truck has to be brand new
I witnessed a sofa fly off the back of a trailer in the wind and break the back of a teenager who was fishing on a bridge. These sorts of inspections are needed for all vehicles IMO.
Very true mate 👍
It doesnt take much to be decent with folk. The Sargent was indeed a professional who knows how these things work.
Funny... I've never seen any travellers pulled over when they have diggers etc (tarmac ya drive guvner) on the back !!!
@Ben Paulley Traffic Coppers aren't bothered about travellers, if they don't play ball the vehicle will get clamped and scrapped, they might have trouble finding them and getting a home address though!
Top bloke that Officer. As others have said, proper credit and what we could do with more of. And really intersting content too. Nice.
Just tell them you're checking on them to make sure they're not doing anything wrong

Mr reggie man of the people👍🏴.
Reeeeeeeeegie heeeeeeere lol brilliant enjoy your evening my friend

Why can't every cop be like this and have a civil discussion and we might actually get a little educational insight. I guess not all cops are civil🤷

Top copper, he should go in to training 👏
Srg what a lovely man on the day 👍🏻👍🏻. Second pissant not to sure. Probably didn't get his leg over 🤣
Yep 👍👍👍
I had dealing with them always very civil they dont bring a prosecution unless necessary
Great interaction and nice to see the Police doing something worthwhile for a change rather than hunting grannies feeding ducks!
Both those bikes got bigger engines than my car 😂😂😂
Respact from France Reggie
Respect mate 👍
Agreed
There's always one that lets the audit down. Don't talk to someone filming if you don't want your face on it.
Good video and a great subject. I used to work for a company that makes on - vehicle weighing, including for vans, so no real excuse for being overweight, it’s cheaper than a fine and points in the long run.

I'm lucky enough to use a Yamaha FJR1300 at my work. They are a fantastic machine.
Blood bike 🏍 brilliant bikes
Was that just a police officer behaving like a police officer? Are there anymore of those? I have never seen one of these rare beings!!
Im glad you noticed that i thought i had forgot to take my meds
I couldn’t pull a wheelchair with my car let alone a trailer 😩
Can't add anything to the so many praising comments. How refreshing.
The Motorcycle helmets on the back of the bikes reminded me of the Imperial Scout Troopers on Endor... 😬

The trailer rules have changed recently. I've heard that I can pull a trailer now without a licence. I'm not sure about commercially and taco
do they fine you personally for accepting to drive that vehicle or does it go to the company that hires you?
