    Thanks for going slow enough for a beginner to follow along and for the closeup view. On Tunisian you only pull through one loop at the beginning of each return row, but it is easier to remember pulling through two loops every time. Also, the edges don't seem to be curling as much as Tunisian unless that is because the blocks are smaller. Great video. Thanks.

    Can a larger size yarn be used?? And if we want a bigger blanket will 34 chains be enough or will we have to do some math to have 6 stitches in each block.🤔❤

    There is also a version where you start with only 2 blocks and circle around those 2 blocks similar to working a granny square never having to cut yarn you just carry it along ... I love the look of entrelac soooo much

    How would I make the squares bigger?

  • @Raevyn20
    @Raevyn20 4 года назад +1

    I would recommend only pulling through ONE loop at first and then two until the end. Otherwise your essentially decreasing a stitch and you'll notice eventually that side of the patch is getting squished and pulled and you have a deformed square.

    Wonderful tutorial. Can anyone tell me how to determine how many chains to determine what your width for a blanket would be? If each block is 2 inches wide and you want say a 42' blanket?

      yes you can try to make it bigger with a bigger hook. I did not test it so I can't say how it will look and chain increase to offer.

    I thought that with the return pass your supposed to ch 1 before starting to pull through 2. Why do you pull through 2 the whole way? I’m not criticizing because I think this is an awesome tutorial. I’m just trying to learn the rationale.

    I don't understand which corner to start my new color on . I started it on the opposite corner of where the first color ended . So when I watch the video yours ended where the first color ended ?

    • @CrochetJewel
      @CrochetJewel  5 лет назад +2

      I fastened off the first row as seen in the video and then I took my new color and started on the corner on the opposite side that I fasteners off, so I didn’t start I. The fastened off side but the opposite side, hope that helps

    What is the reason for the decreased squire ? I think I made it through the first video but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to continue the second video . I wish I could show you a picture of what I’ve done so far . Mine ended with my second color with 4 squires that ended next to the decreased squire . Where do I start again . I must be the dumbest watcher you have 🤪
