Two months ago, me and my wife bought a 2019 S60 T6 as our Jeep GS got flooded. Last Friday having that Volvo saved my life. I got hit by a red light jumper. The S60 is totaled but I walked away from the wreck. Definitely getting another one.
Volo has been dedicated to safety since their conception. The design language of this car, and the proportions of all new Volvos are literal perfection. What a beautiful, extraordinary brand. Long live Volvo, long live Sweden.

Is this why they perform worse than many Chinese cars, Tesla, and others in EURO NCAP? They're so safe, lol. Tesla beats Volvo in safety, as well as many Chinese and some German cars, by scoring much higher for pedestrians, adult occupants, child occupants, and safety assistance. Volvo hasn't won a single EURO ncap "Best in class" rating since 2017. Volvo's safety systems (city safety, autopilot, etc.) are not up to par with those of its rivals and lack many features/performance. Volvo scores much lower than any Lexus/Toyota/Japanese car on reliability ratings. I won't buy any Volvo after driving a Mercedes/BMW, though I've had a 2017 CC S60 T5 AWD. What a piece of garbage it was, compared to BMW or Mercedes.
This is luxury meant for the humble hearted ones. You can see that's not the usual car you find but you can also say that's a fully usable vehicle that wants to be used in the ordinary life. Volvo is always straight to the point. They have no need to show up and you can still have the best in comfort, specs, safety and design. This beautiful machine is as solid as it's owners usually, a great choice for a business owner to the everyday life with a family

The most underrated luxury car on the market. By far, has the most class, comfort, and beautiful design. Such a shame Volvo is discontinuing it. Glad I got one before they do. 2025 S60 is gorgeous!
I leased a T8, the 2020 version. It spent nearly 12 weeks at the dealership for service because the 12v battery would die while the HV battery was charging… It’s a beautiful car, I’d love to have kept it had it not been for the reliability issue. This will probably be a good buy in a couple of more years once they learn issues and fix them.
I was surprised when discovered that first generation of S60 has more comfortable seats than new s90 which I tried and overall better building quality.
Really like the color, classy interior too. Now make a coupe with the same color scheme. The overall design is sharp regardless of having two or four doors.

Have had new Volvo XC60 Inscription +5 packs, assembled in Sweden. Repaired 5 times per 2 years! Extremely high fuel consumption, B5 petrol has 250 hp on the papers only, it is very noisy inside the cabin for 52 000 €. Wasted money! Ten times think before to buy! Sold after 2 years, I had “down graded” to Mazda CX-5 and I’m really happy, all is in like Bose, projection, 360 view, distronic, etc
I love volvo for safety and it contents more metal by comparing other cars. But I have the multicreens and the things metween seets because it isnt enough place for knees

As an Volvo 05 XC70 turbo owner with 252k miles, I can safely say that Volvo makes a very nice vehicle. Convenience without all the fluff.
My only criticism is the rear light clusters . Simply awful .
