I have pointed this issue multiple times regarding the rigidity of the seats and even with some seats having thick cushions. Some sim racing enthusiasts boast how rigid their rigs and pedals are when braking and not taking into account how far their whole body is moving backwords because of their seats. It is good your video shows how susceptible seats are to stresses under braking.
Thanks Karl, and… Karl. 😊 Have flex in current GT Omega XL RS and would consider one of these buckets seats but concerned about comfort. Giving the measurements was great!
I may try a non-reclining seat next round. My RS9 seatback was built with a substantial lean and twist to the left. It's the inner framework - I believe it was just poorly jigged for the welds. That's opposite side of the recliner latch, so it flexes even more in that direction. When I upgrade, it'll go in the bin.
This couldn’t have come out at a better time. I’ve been doing a ton of research trying to figure if I wanted a bucket or recliner. I’m leaning towards bucket for the ease of shakers and benefits for motion down the road. I wish there was an easy way to sit in these. I’ve even debated spending a fortune and getting one rated for a real racecar at the track that I could swap in for track events, however these look like they tick the boxes and are more affordable than the other options. Now to see if it comes to the U.S.
Nice review as always, Carl. Got keen once I saw the reviews for these seats, hoping to fit to my GT Omega Prime. But apparently GT Omega no longer sell in Australia, so will have to look to Next Level Racing or Trak Racer I guess...
Great timing, im in the market for a new seat. Im in the market for a lot atm lol. Sold my frame and bits. Moving onto track racer rs120 with formula/GT upgrade kit. Basically an rs120 with inverted pedals. £615.
Karl, any chance of your expert opinion or review of the Upshift R-Pro profile rig? I just got one, it's rock solid and undercuts the GT Omega Prime Lite and Trak Racer TR80 Lite by a large amount.
Another great review bud, you are top of the game with product reviews. I decided against these due to probably being to snug a fit, shame they don't do bigger especially in the Inertia that looks amazing. Do you know what the new keyboard trey is? Really interested in this but not sure which it is on the website, don't want to get the old one lol. Keep up the great work mate 👌
Nice vid Karl, I have the black GT Omega Inertia seat and i have the new keyboard tray. I did have the XL RS but swapped for the bucket seat. Really pleased with the seat, first thing i noticed was no flex when braking and i find it really comfy. The keyboard tray is ott in my opinion but in a good way. It's solid, im sure you could stand a pc on it, feels like im getting in the car moving the tray to get in rig.
Karl, as always great videos. I do have a question for your. I am in North America and on the US site I can't see these Chase bucket seats. Is there a reason why you might know they aren't available on the US site? I would like to get this Chase seat but can't here. Any advice would be awesome to enable me to purchase the Chase Bucket Seat. Keep up the awesome videos.
Hey Karl, and how about the length of people? I'm a tall guy (195cm) and I'm looking for an either the Rs12 or the bucket chase but I wonder if fits me because of my length. The Rs12 inner height is about the same size as the total length of the chase if I'm correct
Hey Karl, completely off topic question here. I am looking at getting my first VR headset. I have the most amount of hours racing in GT7. But I recently also built a powerful PC. GT7 with PSVR2 looks incredible, but VR Rally looks very awesome to me too. What would you recommend? PSVR2, or Quest 3?
hey Karl, I have similar issues with finding a comfortable sim bucket seat. I also have more of a broad and muscular shoulders. What seat would you recommend for guys with slightly wider shoulders?
Great review but I would recommend just get a real bucket seat. Some of the cheaper some of them little more expensive than seats from racing rig brands. All of them have same side attachments. I have Sparco Circuit 2 very happy. SABELT I think have the most comfortable bucket seat but its a bit on higher budget. Not saying that these are bad but you cant beat a brand who makes stuff for real life motorsport. My comment are more focused for people who don't want to re-invest in the future.
I just ordered a prime lite w/ RS9 seat a few days ago (using your code btw!). Such poor timing, I would have absolutely gotten the bucket option if it was available in the US. Does anyone know if they're good with returns?
I'm gonna assume this is GT omega. Which you have a 14 day return policy from the moment it arrives to return it. I'd suggest contacting them via email, just in case. You may be better served selling it on ebay. I'd imagine the return postage to cost a fair bit. We're close to 4000 miles away. Costs me a lot to import from usa on small items.
Interested in the Chase, but it's hard to guess how it will fit me. I had a chance to sit in a Recaro Pole Position and it fit me perfectly for sim racing (the harness holes were too low to use in a real car), and it didn't feel restrictive on my shoulders, but it's also 4 times the price of this one lol. I'm a thinner guy but don't have narrow or wide shoulders so hopefully the bolsters won't feel too restrictive

@timreeves6901 thanks I’ll check out that seat as well!
Just ordered the prime lite and chase bucket seat and got a nice discount! Cheers Karl 🙌🏼🙌🏼👊🏼
Hope you enjoy it mate!

I would have returned it mate.
Thxs Karl for the vid been waiting for your opinion on these as I'm considering these two

They should be worldwide at some point as far as I know.
I have the inertia and I love it, I find it comfortable for long sessions, however I am a smaller guy( 5,8) so the width is perfect for myself
5’9 myself, I’ll look at the inertia for sure if I decide to upgrade. Good to hear it’s comfortable. And minimal flex you’d say?
@@kevin_m yeah I've had zero flex from the chair itself just a little from the chair slider as Karl mentioned in the vid.

amazing review ive always liked the look of recliner ones the bucket seats look uncomfortable
Those are great looking seats

Sorry its the Prime Keyboard Tray

Do you know if the chase can be mounted with the NLR universal seat brackets?

Sorry mate I don't have any insight on this.

I would probably go RS12, it's the biggest of the bunch and what I use.
im as big guy i use a jeep wrangler seat without the adjustable back almost no flex and more comfortable
I was waiting for this mate! I need my seat to recline like my rs9. Otherwise, I get one.
How's WRC ?

For PC Q3, can't be beaten on clarity and value for money.
If only someone could make these measurements for the sim-lab Speed 1 seat.
Just out of curiosity what was the dimensions of the keyboard tray mate?
They looks sick INERTIA Bucket Seat will it fit on a Next Level Racing GT Elite Aluminium
Yes mate.
@@KarlGoslingokay thanks
hey Karl, I have similar issues with finding a comfortable sim bucket seat. I also have more of a broad and muscular shoulders. What seat would you recommend for guys with slightly wider shoulders?
I'm yet to find a bucket seat that fits me so I just don't use one mate, my GT Omega RS12 is very wide though and very comfortable so use that.
That seat is not in the website
Has anybody used any of these seats? How’s the lumbar support any back pain after sitting down a while?????

I loved your review you said my name. 😂😂😂
lol I did!
No US release? Also not on the US website is the Titan Monitor Mount add on. I want that and can't order it. SMH
They should be worldwide at some point as far as I know.

The red one is no good for VR users.
Just remember that guys.
Unless you never look left, right.
Thats a good point! Also if you're in VR you won't see the seat either so won't feel anywhere near as cool or realistic sitting in it.
Is this seat good for 6.1foot normal body build 85kg
Yeah as thats me but an inch shorter.
@@KarlGosling Thank you this helps alot!
Is this coming to the USA?

Promo'SM 💯
Important Fart Level ? Please
They increased the prices by £50 each. Not worth it at these prices. What a joke
Ouch!
that padding looks terrible on the inertia, doesn't look comfy at all
