    I remembered conceptualizing a 16 bit version of Sonic Adventure when I was in 8th grade. I'm glad my childhood idea is actually coming to life.

      There were multiple attempts at Adventure 1 2D and 06 2D over the years, it's just that none of them came close to being finished.

    Whenever I witness one of these Remake or Demake concepts (Triple Trouble (0I6 Bit), Flickies' Island: Three~D in Two~D, and Next Genesis), the biggest problem that I have with them thus far is that they do not forcibly do enough to truly bring the original visual experience of the games that they are based on into something that optimally matches the original product's vision; there are definitely some very valiant efforts present in all of them, but the heavy reliance on attempting to retain (yet not truly improve upon) Sonic the Hedgehog 03's aesthetic is what has consistently left a sour taste in my mouth to some degree and I worry very much that this will happen here if Adventure '98 & II (0I6 Bit) does not go for a different visual and mechanical approach.
    At this point in the Fangame and ROM Hacking scene, I am genuinely astounded that we still do not witness enough newer projects that are running on Megadrive~style limitations making absolute maximum use of Digitized and Pre~Rendered Graphics, this should be standard in this era of the community and it would aide to the impact of visual faithfulness that especially the Demakes of everything from the Jon Burton (Traveller's Tales) Era and onwards require; those of us who grew up with the Sonic Hoax entries produced between I998 and 2006 will know that some of them put in some genuine effort to deliver a "What if?" scenario in the form of how some Two~D titles would be like on the Saturn and Dreamcast if it used these art practices, Simon Wai's adaptations of Sky Sanctuary II and Doomsday using Digitized Models laid the groundwork for showing how impactful zones could look with this template and wishfully it is that influence that could be used to truly boost this project to a position where it fully uses original assets in the final product.

    Sonic 3 Sprites are the Beginning of "Modern Sonic" why they went backwards with Mania is beyond me
