I admit I made mistakes, the sdlock , In the auto-scroller you have to perceive what to do very quickly but you have the space ,the big fall at the beginning of the level I usually use as a cutscene but I make the character move with the level design like in the lava ref zone cut scene,and the checkpoint that kills I placed at the end of the level... yes I know I'm a bad guy,I placed the spike on the roof but it's obvious that it's to dodge and you don't need to go on it to continue the level,the lag is only in some parts of the level (I play on Android),enemy positioning is acceptable as you need to be at maximum speed to take damage,I always take different paths for knuckles and rouge but it's more difficult,yes I make it to be very quick to dodge but the checkpoint is in front and not very difficult to dodge,

this is super fun idea for a video, my first and only level on this game is a stardust speedway and starlight zone hybrid, with 3 routes, speed and platforming, some slope launches that take you to alternate paths, and everyone that played it loved it, i guess that's what happens when you actually understand whats fun about speed platforming.

Now value your time: either play and have fun, or make cards for a long time and then see that people did not play your card because of compression

Another pro tip I learned: Don't make a level with rolling tunnels with multiple pathways. Those do NOT work as intended

8:13 the way i counteract this is by using s1 sonic or scd sonic for the main route with the others for character specific routes
using splash hill zone’s theme (sonic 4) is another thing you dont want
I would use long falls, but ONLY at either the start, or end of a level, and if at the end, make it so it is IMPOSSIBLE to fail.

I did the hill zone level, but not so accurately. I made it more playable, or this is such nonsense that makes no sense (just run). This is even worse than an empty level (although the meaning is the same)

Hill zone act 1(there is gameplay)
