@1:05 Reminds me of the time I was working on an old Akai tube reel to reel tape recorder and accidentally shorted out one of the capacitors. Wasn't injured, but the jolt propelled me to the other side of the room.

I was working on a tube tv once. Fun times.
I was working on a 300w tube guitar amp one time, that was fun. I lost feeling in my right hand for a day or two

Bug zappers have two screens close together, each with opposite voltages. So no, this would do nothing but short out the circuit.

You would probably need a much higher voltage and two layers of screen doors closely spaced together like a sandwich.
