We got this kit for our niece as a gift from another family member.
I've never Crochet in my life lol.
But she wants this done, she just turned 5. Now Cunckles, "Uncle" has to figure it out. Should I give it a go, or buy a different kit to practice on first? Any tutorial ideas? I'm green as far as this stuff goes but she is our heart lol I gotta make this happen.

Tea and crafting has a youtube tutorial on how to make a jelly fish. That is how I learned to crochet. Studio crafti has a Pikachu tutorial that is set up for people to learn amigurumi as well. Those would be great starting points. The kits are fun for those that already crochet but hang on to it and try a couple of tutorial videos and see how it goes. You can do this! I had never crochet anything and completed the jellyfish. It was a sad jellyfish, but it awesome to accomplish it!

I don't like the yarn, eyes, or hook that come with the books. I just use my own yarn and safety eyes and a 4mm hook. So really I just need the book. 😆
