One of the best things you can do as a natural lifter is to study the philosophy of Old-School bodybuilders. Old-School bodybuilders were ingenious physique architects. They had a profound knowledge of the principles of proper nutrition, smart supplementation, exercise science and muscle adaptability. If you combine Old-School bodybuilding wisdom with modern, evidence-based science, it's the best, safest, most effective way in achieving a strong, sexy, healthy and aesthetic physique. Vintage Physique by George Kelly is a nice book on this. It includes 3 lean bulking protocols (diet + training + supplements) depending on your training level.

I’m skeptical about stopping before hitting bottom. I get the idea that doing this keeps the biceps muscles in a constant state of exertion, but I think there’s an inherent danger of inadvertently creating a sticking point-so that even handling something as light as a plastic frisbee could result in a biceps tear when the arm/biceps are suddenly required to be fully extended.
    Thoughts?

It's not necessarily what he is doing.......its more to do with GENETICS. Without the right genetics (according to experts) you could curl day and night, and not have arms like that. I knew somebody like that 45 years ago, same type of build, never took any type of drugs.......just had the right genetics. If someone is a fit Olympic long distance runner, then maximum respect to them. BUT, unfortunately this body type won,t have arms like that with their genetics, irrespective of what they do. This guy is a virtual replica of Arnold, and sadly for others: it's mainly due to genetics. We can all improve no matter our body types, but no way will everyone achieve arms like this man. And finally: he does not necessarily take any type of drugs.........some people just have huge mesomorphic genetics, and traits. And that is something the average person cannot accept, they judge others as: Ooh he must be on something.

This is going to sound like such a hater comment, but the size of his biceps and triceps relative to the size of his arm's bone structure does not appear natural at all. I'm highly suspicious of PEDs in this case. Naturals tend to stay within certain ratios relative to their bone structure - for good reason too (nature wants to avoid the probability of a bicep / tricep tear). When the ratios start getting skewed like this, the risk of a tear goes way up.
That said, I do agree with performing curls in this fashion, keeping the tension on the bicep the whole time. The purists would consider this cheating the ROM, but I've found better results keeping constant tension in this range along with a better mind muscle connection.
