Yes Sebastian Bach is still singing , he's just released another solo album & he has lost a little bit of his voice but with the exception of the lead singer from Disturbed , Michael Bolton , a couple of the guys from The Backstreet Boys & maybe Mark Slaughter . There's not a male vocalist today that can touch him . Check out Skid Row's songs Quicksand Jesus , In A Darken Room , 18 & Life , Money Business & Youth Gone Wild . Then check out Sebastian Bach's first solo album called Kicking & Screaming . Check out the songs I'm Alive & Tunnelvision .

I was at a Skid Row concert with Twisted Sister in the early 2000’s, my ex was the drum tech, knew everyone, and backstage at this one, Sebastian Bach came in like a tornado in a long leather coat…and after meeting him, nice! He is TALL! And handsome! And CAN SING! Lots of folks have said he had the best lead male vocals of anyone else for ballads in rock. As evidenced here, he is amazing, and this is a great song.

@@setonhillstudios yes, lucky. I heard stories! One I can tell you. Twisted members were NOT drug people, but some of their fans were. When touring, they had a whole floor in hotels where they collaborated, rested, and had some fun. One night, my ex was in a room with a few other roadies with the door to the room open, like always. All of a sudden, they see Dee Snider run past the door frantically, followed by a young woman screaming after him with SCISSORS in her hands. The guys all went into the hall after them, turned out she wanted Dee’s HAIR! Oh my!

Sebastian Bach is one of the absolute very best rock singers of all time. Him and Mike Patton (Faith No More), who is an absolute vocal phenom, are my top 2 of all time.

Most people play this song and 18 & Life. I saw them a couple years ago at a county fair. It was with the new singer that was amazing and full of energy. Now he's gone to0 and Lzzy Hale is filling in. Check her out!!!

This one isn’t your typical “breakup, makeup” power ballad. In this one his wife died. Notice that the guy in the video peers into a cemetery several times throughout the song.

The guy can sing super high notes but no soul in the delivery. For me, Bach and Perry were the two best singers in the 80’s

For a bit Sebastian was doing Jesus Christ Superstar as the back up Jesus, that was the last I heard of his singing and that was early 2000's. He had lost some of his quality by that time but was still good. I do recommend you checking out 18 and Life next.
Sebastian Bach can hold a note better in a scream better than some people can singing normally! I did a cover of Wasted Time on my RUclips channel, and I'm working on doing a cover of this, but it's a tough one! Two words that are very important when singing Skid Row songs, breath control!
Back in the 70s musicians Loved to play. Also if you wanted to make you had to be able to. No auto tuner computers to hide behind. I grew up in the 70s music was fire back then.
When this was a hit in 1989 and beyond. This is one that was highly requested when we were out playing lol. The chicks dug it tremendously. Great song!

Love early Skid Row. I see there are some nice recommendations. I second Monkey business (some cowbell) and Quick Sand Jesus are my votes. Sebastian was in Madam X and they were a metal band in the 80's but in Sebastian form he got into it with the bassist Chris Doliber they disbanded in 1988 and Sebastian went on to Skid Row. Sebastians main problem was he just didn't know how to keep his mouth shut during interviews he is outspoken but in a very crude almost caveman way, I think he means well but he just comes across as heartless and selfish at times. I remember many MTV interviews it was like silence when he was speaking on AIDS in the mid 80's.
Anyway, he has put out some new music recently and it is in the 80's vein but with a bit more edge to it. It is called what Do I Got To lose, He still has it after all of this time and with the music he sang he did something right with his voice. He was on the masked singer I think not too long ago. I think he wanted to reunite with the old mates but they want nothing to do with Sebastian. I think LIzzy Hale from Halestrom toured with them for a while. She did Quicksand Jesus better than anyone I have heard cover it.

Sebastian is still singing and very much in the news since the latest Skid Row vocalist left. A lot of people say he should get back into Skid Row, but they don't want him and continue to stand their ground that he will never be in the band again. Also, I once witnessed him almost beat up a sound guy at a show. "Bas literally dropped the mic on purpose, which was heard in the p.a. and the sound guy made a comment to him and he got pissed off and started chasing him. It took 4 guys to stop him from clobbering that guy.

😎 Enjoyed your reaction! This is such a good song from a great album. I was 17 years-old when the album came out in January of 1989. Sebastian's voice was not only so melodic but so powerful, too. Sadly, he was fired by the band, in late 1996. But he's gone on to a pretty successful solo career and Skid Row has carried on.
I was watching Much Music, I’m from Canada, when my first introduction to Skid Row happened…..Youth Gone Wild. If you are digging into the band might as well go to the beginning
