Amazing solution with quad tools and curviloft. Thank you very much for your video.

Hello Friend, Thanks this is fantastic. One thing I can not understand is, Helix create by this app is not a solid. Inside the thread is open. As it is not a solid we can not use the solid union or solid subtract commands. Can you suggest an easy way to make this thread solid please.

How did you get this to work in metric? Mine is stuck in imperial no matter what I do. Great video though, thank you.

Wait, how do you make internal threads!? such as the inside of a bolt or a screw-on lid? That's basically half of all the thread designs you'd want to make. I mean, sure you could go at is with the solid modeling tools and create it by subtraction, but that would take a lot more steps. Can you put a negative number in one of the dialog prompts to cause the geometry to invert?

Yes! there is a trick that I used to make internal threads with this plugin. but I forget to mention it in this video.
      Use these settings
      150
      150
      50
      0
      8
      24
      0
      50
      50
Actually, the trick is, Consider "Threads Height" as "Threads Edge Height" and "Threads Edge Height" as "Threads Height"
let me know if you understand.

@@TutorialsUp Okay, so you just treat the inside as the outside and vica versa. That makes sense.

I am offended that the music slaps. They are like "I know these sketchup nerds, I bet they love instrumental Lo-Fi beats". Bastards are right !
