Can you make the moon rotate around itself?

No you can't on this one, But here is how you can do it:
1-Find any "equirectangular texture" of the moon, download : svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/details.cgi?aid=4720
2-Apply the effect "CC Sphere" to that layer
3-In the "CC Sphere" paramaters head to "Rotation" and rotate your moon on any axis you want
