Does this work for both short circuit and spray? I just bought a 220 MTS and I am really looking forward to using pulse spray on steel. I have only welded MIG with short circuit using a transformer based machine so the HTP machine is going to be a big step up.
Do you have a reseller in Australia?? I would like to get one of those pro pulse 200-220 for use with aluminium 5356, how can I acquire one in Australia?
@@usaweld thanks for getting back to me, is that $700 usd or aud for shipping? How much is the machine? Is it Australian single phase or 3 phase? Will it come supplied and fitted with an Australian plug? Cheers
@@usaweld ok, is you’re 240v over there the same as Australia, will it be a matter of just swapping out the plug to an Australian 240v single phase plug?
The ST arc function will be utilized regardless. It will work with mild steel or aluminum. So no you do not need 100% argon, we were welding on mild steel with 75/25.
@@Tsitris46 Spray Arc does need 90/10, 98/2, or 100% depending on what material you are welding on. In this video we aren't utilizing the spray arc, this is short circuit welding. Which is why you can utilize 75/25.
This thing is awesome! To be honest though I wouldn’t let a newbie use this…it makes it too easy and would create some bad habits vs learning how to control the arc yourself properly. But damn it’s nice…it’s almost like cheating.
Great video! Seems like it would be great for out of position welds
That it is! It is an awesome feature that this machine has.
