Char Futur 4 - Too soft for a medium? 9 Premium Review World of Tanks Blitz is a video deep diving the new tier IX french crate tank the Char Futur 4. A cross over form the World of tanks PC client that i've been keen to run for a long time now. However the migration has not been great and the Char has a lot of issues that will stop it from really performing well.

Glad you`re back, Bushka. Your calm and thoughtful approach to gameplay makes your content enjoyable and educative. I used to be a 46% player back in the day until another player wrote to me about me ruinning everyone else`s game by not playing my tank as I should to help the team and suggested me to watch some RUclips tutorials to learn how to play. I did just that, and "Bushka on Blitz" was the first channel I landed on...Today I`m 55%+ and rockin` (or not suckin` at least), still enjoying your content. Cheers from Uruguay!

The BC 25t AP makes this thing look like a pathetic joke
Got my hands on this thing and I wound up running camo net on it over optics. I feel like stealth and positioning is super important for this tank since it has no ability to brawl. In my opinion, it'd be busted if it got light tank status, but then it'd have a clear reason to exist over the Leo PTA
I `ve set my tier 10 chinese light the same way to get the best out of It`s cammo mechanics.
It's got that"evil eye" ability now, you can see whose spotting you.

After returning to the game myself after a long break, the Blitz community needs you back Bushka.
First off. Long time Subscriber and fan super happy to see you making videos for Blitz again! Second. Not having much of a life, I find myself getting most new tanks, and this one is no exception. I got it Friday night and haven’t really exclusively focused it so far, but at 22 games in I have a 78% win rate. I am a 50.16% WR player with about 65k games in. This tank is everything you said! I’d love to see it get a bit more armor, even at the cost of a bit of speed. While I love Clippers, I don’t feel this tank suffers from that too much at this point. I am an extremely passive player without this tank. I learned within a few games to do so. This tank just seems to fit me like a glove. Keep the great videos coming! I have something to watch again!
I feel this tank is one of those tanks that's "good, but why bother play it". I agree with Bushka's comparison to the Leo PTA, the char feels almost identical to the PTA. I would rather play Standard B than pay to get this

The very best thing about this tank is Bushka reviewing it! Love the old school, truthful and informative review. It's underwhelming and definitely missing something. My opinion, the autoloader. Give it two or three shells, it needs something. Make it a tier 9 Bourrasque. The current state, you may as well play the Type 61 or Leo PTA. Unless you're a collector, don't waste the money in it's current format. The bigger issue this review points to is just how bad Mines is. Unless you have gun depression, enough speed to get to the center hill before being nuked, or are a TD sitting at the back, it is an awful map with the most lethargic game play in all of the maps in rotation. Mines needs serious re-work. The game on Castilla was an incredibly patient and calculated drive and a perfect example of how this tank needs desperately needs some love from WG.

I’ve had games just like that in the Char. I just couldn’t do anything. No team support, constantly spotted up, getting chased to the point where I run away and stay in spawn. It’s wild

Such a great looking tank and I use to love the pta so I bought it. If you’ve been playing this game as long I have, sometimes you want a challenge or something that is different. It will be a very poorly performing tank compared to others in its class but will hopefully be fun when you’re in the mood for a different drive. It’s sort of like playing chess the way you have to think through the game in these types of tanks. You don’t play it for win rate or stats though, that’s for sure.

I first encountered this tank in a random battle (hadn't seen it in the store or in reviews yet) I was running my T34-2 in when I crested a hill and ran smack into it. With no where close to seek cover and no other reds pushing up (or greens for that matter). I just glued myself to him and duked it out. Managed to burn him down to
I wish that Wargaming would make it possible for you to opt out of being in a higher tier game while accepting the fact that you’re going to have a longer time in queue
I don’t get how some players consistently get 3000 damage in this thing.
I have games where my team spots and I get to farm damage, but I also have games where I feel powerless, just guns aiming at me and my team getting picked off. How am I to deal damage in a scenario like that?
This type of tank is a live by the sword die by the sword tank. You create pressure by dealing unexpected damage in quick succession in the first encounter to create pressure, because it is not a tank enemies fear like a 183. The main goal is to use that dpm with everything you have in hand, at the right time. If you dont create that pressure by lowering their hp, you will struggle massively.
Feel your pain.. too many tier 10 match up… with so many auto loaders and it’s a HE magnet … should have been a at least a tier 9 borat ( 2 shot auto loader )
i just got to the PTA today and i got really good games but at the 1/3 mark of the game i ended up thinking where did my HP go countless times
this whole video felt like a recounting of all the games i played with it today feels like deja vu
on a side note asia server seems so so so much more toxic the eu

As a player who loves the type 61, averaging 75% 3.2k dmg (although I've only played 30 odd games but nonetheless.. ), I love this tank. The mobility, very nice gun handling, low profile, 7 degrees of gun depression, insane dpm is really one of a kind. Sure it lost it's 4 round clip and it doesn't have no armour whatsoever, but what i wouldn't agree with bush is that you don't go aggressive.

The pressure is enforced by taking away their hp with the great dpm and gun handling, mobility to create pressure. And imho if you dont create that pressure by playing actively, and at times aggressively, it will be a massive struggle. Having early shots, using the fantastic gun handling to sneak in shots when you're unspotted or the enemy's attention is even slightly diverted is what I view as it's party piece. To not care about your armour and to make that gun sing the best you can using the hp and mobility is the play style of the leo pta, type 61 and the char.
However, I would definitely agree that it would be too much of a handful for beginners, and could be frustrating for people who don't like this sort of style, as it is a very tailored way to play a tank.. It will absolutely be a waste of good money in that case.
(Currently 20games in avg. 3570 dmg per game)

I remember checking Blitz Stars after I finished grinding the Type 61, and was positively dumbfounded when I saw that I had over 1600 per game and 2400 WN8. Used to be higher, when I was playing it. So bad. I see the comparison. Char and Type are comparable on gun matters, Char and Leo on mobility

This tank's whole identity on pc is the autoloader. Why WG why?
This tank lost its uniqueness.... Char Futur 4 have 2 distinct unique factor :
1. The 4 shell autoloader
2. The 4s Intraclip
Without this its kinda meh... Even if it use singlr shell gun and have pretty goof performance but still without that i think it just become ur usual MT
Which make it bland... It just meh not worth ur gold i guess
