Since almost all of the viewers are students... I decide to write the answer down 4 fact about Africa's size: 1. Africa is the second largest continent in the world 2. It runs 5,000 thousand miles from the Mediterranean Sea, all the way done to the Cape of Good Hope. 3. It also runs 4,600 miles from Cape Verde all the way over Somalia. 4. It has a total of 30 million square kilometres (11.7 million square miles) which is the second only to Asia. Identify the biomes found in Africa: 1. Desert: Deserts are the religions that receive a very little precipitation. A common definition for desert is an area that gets less than 10 inches of rain per year. 2. Rain-forest: Rain forests are the religion that experience heavy rainfall. For a region to be considered a rain forest it receives at least 70 inches of rain per year but some rainforests receive much more! Some estimates say as many as half of all plants and animals on earth live in rain forests! Over a quarter of natural medicines which have been discovered were found in the rainforest! Rain forests are responsible for processing 28% of the world's carbon dioxide and turning it into oxygen so we can breath! 3. Savanna: The savanna is a grassy plain which covers nearly half of Africa. The savanna is characterized by scattered trees among a land space of grasses and shrubs. 4. Chaparral: Chaparral is characterized by short woody shrubs and a climate of mild wet winter and hot dry summers. 4. Major bodies of water that form the borders: The Mediterranean Sea, the Red Sea, the Atlantic Ocean, and the India Ocean. 5. Mountains (elevated land): Africa, the Atlas Mountain, and Mount Kilimanjaro. Least at least 3 natural resources in Africa: 1. Gold Mines 2. Rubber Trees 3. Oil ... It took me a lot of time to type, so why don't you leave a like?
Mr zoller it's teachers like you that made me want to study geography. Just a couple more semesters until I get my masters in urban and regional planning. I hope you continue to inspire students both in classrooms and on the web.
Greetings Mr.Zoller I had you as a teacher in 7 grade I absolutely loved your classes. I’m so glad to see that you’re still teaching the same amazing way you always did. I’m gonna rewatch all your podcasts and leave a like on all of them. Love your teaching and love your class. E.T.
Had to leave what I was doing to comment on your podcast on Africa. The best ever! Short & on point. Hopefully those with a twisted view of Africa will get to understand the magnificent beauty, pristine beaches, natural resources (exploits) and much more about one of the world's most MISUNDERSTOOD LANDMASS!...Thank you, Mr. Zoller.
I have to watch this for google classes and it’s not fun they give you more homework than they did when corona virus was real it’s Anoying and stressful but this was fun to learn

Africa has 3 snow-capped mountains, i. e Mt Kenya, Mt Kilimanjaro and Ruwenzori Mountains, those ones are close to the equator and have Arctic Climate throughout the year
Generally good, but seriously deficient of the mountain biome. The deficiency shows in the lack of coverage of the Horn, the Nile Basin, the Danakil Depression and the Ethiopian Highlands.
Ethiopia is NOT the source of the Nile. It is the source of the Blue Nile. The proper Nile starts in the Mountains of the Moon springs into Victoria Lake. The Nile then flows out of Lake Victoria as the White Nile through Sudan. The Blue Nile which flows out of Lake Tana in Ethiopia through Sudan (Khartoum) then joins the White Nile on its journey through Egypt to the Mediterranean Sea.

"That location made it an ideal trading partner for its neighbors" as it shows the slave triangle. LOL
bobby thomas That was a trade route. They TRADED with african nations for slaves.
Location makes it an ideal trading network for its enemies. Not neighbours
If your in my geography class it’s Charles PHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ahh what its like to see outside again.
I just realized that the latest comment was about a week ago
Now the latest comment is one second ago!!! 😂😂🤣🤣
Very imperessive way of education
So a rain forest only gets 7 times as much rain as a desert. That doesn't seem like much of a difference.
What a great video! My geography set our homework to watch this video and it was great, thanks!!
what is the science and mathematics of african societies?
I love honesty Africa

Nice I'm from India n was excited to know about Africa
Very nice explaination ....love from India 🇳🇪🇳🇪🇳🇪

Read the book "Not out of Africa".
Largest *"Hot"* desert.
Largest desert is in Antarctica.
he said that at the bottom in the beginning man
I think you mean it has the longest river in the world, the Nike, the Amazon is the largest river in the world - far more water flow than the Nile.
Ethiopia is NOT the source of the Nile. It is the source of the Blue Nile. The proper Nile starts in the Mountains of the Moon springs into Victoria Lake. Why is half of the writing the wrong way round??????????
As a blogger and a homeschooler, I personally think that it did not suit my learning style. I thought it was, well, kind of boring.
Great man
Nile is not the longest river in the world. The Amazon is the longest river in the world.
Am I the only one taking an exam from Geography? 😂
