I have the pro in white and I love it. The best keyboard I've ever owned. Don't worry about the 1mm being too easy to press. It is too easy to knock keys, however, you can change the setting on this, I think I found 3 or 4mm the best for me
Finally, Corsair makes white keyboard again! This is a looker for sure. I would hope Corsair makes a K70 Pro wireless low profile and in white 😁 Great video Prawn!
This keyboard was perfect... Until the sound test. I hate loud, clunky keyboards. I don't get that appeal at all. Tons of people love the sound. I just don't don't. I have this really old quiet keyboard but I wanna upgrade to a new Corsair one but all newer keyboards are either loud and clunky or flat key caps. I don't want either of those...
@sebastianch001 no it isn't? Silent means no noise. Did you even listen to the sound test? It doesn't sound any different from any other mechanical keyboard to me. My current 3rd party keyboard is MUCH quieter.
@sebastianch001 idc about other switches. You can't say "it's extremely silent" when it's not silent at all. Other keyboards can sound like jet engines. Doesn't make this one "extremely silent" when it's still noisy as hell.
I recently purchased the black version with the "soft touch" wrist rest that is not soft touch... its textured solid plastic, that being said the whole keyboard is an improvement on the k70 lux i was using until it lost a fight with a bottle of root beer.
I have the older version of this keyboard with rapidfire caps, I'd upgrade to this in a heartbeat if it wasnt that they no longer have a USB passthrough.
Oh! i didnt see this white version before i bought the black one i'm using now(arrived today) and my Rig is white! Tbh,this was an oppurtunity buy rather than a normal purchase
I just got this keyboard. I was putting new keycaps on and the enter button on the numpad. The switch came out! I made sure it wasn't broke but it's not still works. Is this keyboard switch swappable?
im on FN 0 , its always red, i wonna change it into other color as single one. i dont want to install any corsair app though. do you know the key combination to change colors on fn + 0? thnx! (like make it only blue or only green etc)
I wonder if the K70 Pro is compatible with HyperX's Pudding double shot keycaps as that's really the only thing keeping me from buying this keyboard I like the fact HyperX's Pudding keycaps let more of the RGB backlighting through
It should be now. The bottom row is now standard and should fit with the HyperX pudding keycaps. I had to buy an aftermarket set of bottom row keycaps for my K95. :( But with the new K70 Pro, the entire set should easily fit.
So I bought a K100 last week from Corsair and I returned and exchanged it today for the white K70 with the OPX switches. I have big hands and I have to say that I make much fewer typing mistakes with the K70 vs the K100. I gave the K100 an honest try for a week and a half and I just couldn't get used to it, I would constantly hit adjacent keys and getting locked out of my apps for typing int the wrong password by accident. Now, the K70 is loud as hell but there is something very satisfying about the ease that comes with pressing the keys and how precise they are. It's also gorgeous. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it, if you listen to music you can drown out the sound of the keys, but is that a good solution?
I got the OPX k70 TKL and honestly the OPX switches are wayy to sensitive. Keyboard is amazing for gaming but for typing be ready to make many mistakes. Better off going with the Cherry MX-Speed Silvers.
Already got the k100 opx this looks the same except slightly cut down which may not be a bad thing considering the icue wheel is a niche feature and the g keys are kinda unneeded and only take up more space
I want to upgrade my K70 Platinum w/ Silver Switches because it's getting old and like 10 keys have messed up RGB lights. But this new K70 doesn't offer enough to justify $250. Especially seeing how if I switch I'll be losing the USB passthrough, I use that USB port for so many things. The only appealing feature is the new wrist rest which looks much better vs the one I have. Overall it feels like Corsair is just coasting with their line up of K70s... they keep making the same K70 and change nothing.
I love watching your reviews! Just wondering why you stopped using bg music during the video because that makes it more entertaining. The K60 LP review i rewatched so many timed because of your soothing voice and the calming music.
Very well review thank you liked it. This keyboard sounds like crap the black one sounded better which is what i have a k90. This is sad its the sound fir me 😢
150 million keystrokes is a lot. Even a normal mechanical switch lasts 60 million keystrokes and that´s more that over 10 years of heavy use and I think no gamer will keep a keyboard for longer than 5-6 years because let´s be honest. After 4 years already most keyboard look nasty because we touch the keys with our fat covered fast food fingers so you should change your keyboard for hygienic reasons more often than for broken keys.
Now I wish Corsair would come out with a mouse (wired or wireless) with freespin/hyperscroll that also comes in white.

This is rather silent actually... 🤔

@@snogard106 you definitely haven't heard blue switches / clicky . This one is extremely silent

It is still extremely silent
Excellent review, clear and concise.
Thank you

I love loud key sounds
Can you use a USB c to USB 3 converter as my PC has no USB c port?
After going to optical it's a bit hard going back to mechanical, especially on a mouse.
Eh I do it all the time

Awesome video thank you. I was looking very closely at this kb and you have steered me away from the OPX switches. Consider me subbed!
Thanks for watching
Damn the white version looks really good.Just got the black version, it's good but the white i seem to like a bit more
Ok, I NEED to know where you got that knife! That is so awesome looking!
It's a Gerber. Similar to this amzn.to/4abAbp1
Should have included an opinion about the polling rate too.

Hey at 10:04 how did ya make the individual keys change colour per press? :)
You can configure per-key lighting on this Keyboard in the iCUE software.

Omg this looks nice, now you made me think do i buy this instead of the Razer Huntsman
can u set a macro or key combo like "shift + e" on a single keyboard press ?

A lot of other people were saying they didn't like the music. 🤷♂️
@@TheProvokedPrawn Oh, i understand. It's an opinion i guess!
Anyways, keep it up! ;p
Hey mate is it worth upgrading to this from the k70 mk2 se?
Got the same keyboard, did you lube your springs? My k70 pro has a lot of ping.
I did not.
Is it me or somebody else that the white version sounds betters than the black version
do you still like this keyboard
Gorgeous keyboard just wish they did a wireless or tkl (preferable)
the black one does it for me
its currently on sale under 100 quid might get it
How much bass you want to add to your voice? Yes
None
Why can't all keyboards have dedicated multimedia keys? I don't get the logic...
The starting sound of this video perfectly epitomizes "tech horny". But good review!
🤷🏼♂️
Bro started the video by moaning in my ears.. I liked it
I miss the background song
Very well review thank you liked it.

annoying loud. I'll stick with my Cherry MX Silent from corsair.
U know what’s crazy is I bought this cuz I liked the color and just realized it’s not wireless 🙃
ANSI >>>> ISO

OMG what is this voice over? ..made me find a different vid. I want a keyboard, not a se* toy.
It's ok if you're not comfortable with your sexuality.
