Duke von Aegir was a war hero. He defected from the Adrestian Empire and aided the King Dimitri in stopping his homeland's vicious ruler before she could destroy all of Fodlan in her hunger for conquest. But fifty years later, he dies without an heir. A team is sent to search his belongings to try and find any sign of who he'd want to run his territory. Instead, they find all of Ferdinand von Aegir's grief for his lost homeland and friends, reflected by the belongings in his desk.
