@@geoffprince2258 Thanks, Geoff, yeah, he is so precious. Many just fall for more than his voice and singing, but his personality as well - that kindness to strangers, love for family, innocence and loving affectionate character. It's so rare.
All singers aren't 100% confident in their performance. Majority of them rewatch footage of their performance and find things they could have done better with their voices, it's called self-criticism and it's common knowledge that Dimash does this as well when he monitors his performances. Being able to sing well is one thing for the audience, however to the singers themselves its a skill and art. He isn't just asking "Did I sang well", he's asking his father if the way he performed the song with various vocal techniques and the inclusion of three to four extra higher octaves was good because when it comes to someone's work, a second opinion is always appreciated.
He's not only handsome but pure heart and his voice is so unique and his skills are immense ! I just hope his father is not his handler...this young man deserve a good and happy life.
its really not unique its a mongolian trait , we have amazing throat muscles so when we can sing we have amazing range in our voices , my daughter , she has amazing range too , look at mongolian throat singers , then you will know its far from unique

No, his father is not his handler. He is university educated in classical as well as contemporary music, and is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range. He has performed songs in twelve different languages. He shares how, from the time he was barely a toddler, his grandmother sent him to music school despite her bad knees and he appreciates her for that. His mother is a singer and his father too, as well as his grandfather, are musically inclined. From many sources, including photos and videos from fans, on social media, we see pictures and video clips of him with his grandparents, whom he adores, his parents who are loved and respected, his siblings whom he cares so much for and fans who are his "dears." Occasionally, we see him showing kindness to a stranger in a wheelchair boarding a plane, pictured with a physically handicapped school mate whom he takes care of dining together, playing with children, etc. Fans all over the world love him for his personality, besides his voice and his looks.
I’m not sure what you mean by “handler.” His father, Kanat, resigned his own position with a cultural center (sorry, can’t remember the exact name) in order to become his son’s manager, either sometime during or just after the Singer competition, I believe.

That moment has me IN TEARS. Look at that father-son affection. It's not something you see every day with people as famous as he is. You can't fake that level of mutual love and respect. I lost my own dad when I was 17 so maybe that's why this scene is turning me into an emotional wreck.
Thank you, Dasha Casciero for your thoughts. Yes, indeed. I am moved to tears each time I listen to his performance of "Intense autumn emotions" in a way I never felt before when I heard it performed by other better-known singers. In this father-son meeting, he is just a child, a first born child, not a singer, not a great singer who just recently found fame in a foreign land. He was just a child who needed his family.
@@dashacasciero5371 I lost my dad when I was only 9. And to make it worse, I was the youngest in my family. I turned out to be a good student and the teachers let me go through express class. I skipped a year and ended up in the same class one elder brother of mine who is 23 months my senior. My life became hell. Due to jealousy I was abused and used. This elder sibling is devious, he only did so behind the backs of elders. In front of others, he pretended to be a great elder brother. Few saw through him. If only my dad was there to protect me. Up to today this sibling is still unremorseful. He excuse it as "sibling rivalry" which it is definitely way beyond. I feel broken and I know I will never heal. Throughout my school life and college days, I've seen how elder siblings in the same school protect, look out for and make sacrifices for their younger siblings. Granted some fathers are irresponsible, with few exceptions, we can say that a father is a special part of life that we cannot do without.
This brought me tears - he loves what he does and he enjoys it!!! His dad being present and so happy and proud is another level. God bless the children and guide the parents.! Amen!
This is the song that made Dimash a global sensation. Sadly, it also made Vitas bitter and jealous of Dimash's superb rendition of his song so he retaliated by threatening a legal action against Dimash for copyrights and intellectual property infringement. Vitas should have been proud of Dimash's performance and tribute to him instead.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, King. I did read that Vitas had no objections when this song was performed by other singers. To be truthful, I enjoyed Dimash's version much more than the original. I believe mine is the general opinion. The reason that the original singer is displeased is quite obvious.
Hmm, I understood it was not necessarily Vitas, but his 'managers'(the ones who stand to lose money if the song is no longer Vitas' fame, alone) who threatened legal issues...🤷🏻♀️

In my grandparents’ era it was “until death do us part”. The WWII generation had lots of people achieve golden anniversaries because divorce was taboo, particularly in a 73% Christian country.
The world is changing. Traditional values are becoming a thing of the past. It's sad; tragic, even, but it's true.

He is so humble that even ask if he has sang well, incredible. We all love you for your voice and as a human being

@@IrisesInTheSun I couldn't have said it better myself. You nailed it.

@@IrisesInTheSun Totally agree. Vitas objected because Dimash outperformed him on Opera 2 which no other singer had done before. Plain and simple.
I figured that must have been the case as I saw no other version of this song performed by DIMASH! TYTY for clarifying!
Hmm, I understood it was not necessarily Vitas, but his 'managers'(the ones who stand to lose money if the song is no longer Vitas' fame, alone) who threatened legal issues...🤷🏻♀️

Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. I cried too when I heard him cover an old song originally sung by my favourite singer. Strangely, tears roll down my face each time I hear Dimash sing that song but it never happened when I listened to the original singer. Dimash's talent is unique.

Yes, he has a lovely family and his bond with his dad is very touching. As per their Kazakh tradition, he was brought up by his grandparents. (His mom is a professional singer.) He always thought his parents were his elder siblings until he was about 11. 🤟🏻💕❤️🌹💐
Голос уууууу
❤️❤️❤️
Какие красавчики папаи сынок. Спасибо АЛЛАХУ за такой бриллиант .
У Димаша хорошая семья. Слава Богу за все.
Handsome, cute, sweet voice in one man that's what a man want his son to be like.
Thank you Vivek, I'm glad you enjoyed the clip.
WOW, WOW , WOW AMAZINGGGGG, OH MY GOD HE IS INCREDIBLE!!!!
Yes, indeed. Dimash is amazing. He has a very unusual talent and he works very hard to hone it. Thank you for watching.
What an amazing voice he has. The control and range of his voice is just unbelievable
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Dimash started really early. His grandmother took him to music school when he was 5. Kudaibergen was brought up in a close-knit musical family, and his grandparents played a major role in his upbringing, which follows a traditional Kazakh custom. He began performing at a young age, singing and playing the piano. His first appearance on stage was at the age of two in a minor role in a local theatre production. His parents and his music teacher noticed that he had absolute pitch. At the age of five, he began to take piano and vocal lessons at the children's studio of the local music college. He first sang on stage the same year, at the age of five. At the age of six, in 2000, he won the national piano contest Aynalayin.
@@IrisesInTheSun thank you so much for letting me know more about him. It seems that music was integrated into his life from the very beginning. You can see why he seems to love it, there is such a passion if that's the right word to use, when he sings and a joy. It also helps to have a family who is supporting and proud of him.
Hes from another planet, his voice is like liquid gold !!!
Thank you for watching and commenting. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

Dimash is an amazing singer. Thank you for watching. Glad you like it.
Did I sing well? 😳 Oh Dimash! You sang amazingly!!
Dimash the amazing superstar heart-throb to the rest of the world. Nonetheless, his father's opinion matters much and he still wishes to win his father's approval as if that's all that matters. 💋💋❤️❤️😘😘😍😍
" Did I sing well?" If he asked me that with the same level of uncertainty and sincerity he has here I would've asked him if he'd lost his mind! That he "sang well" is the biggest understatement of the century.
Thank you for watching and I'm glad you like it. He is the first born child, special to his parents, just as his dad is special to him. He needed his dad's approval...
❤❤❤❤❤❤
There was this look that said "you're not even ready for what's coming"

Thank you for your comment. I'm glad you enjoy it. Yes, this is an amazing performance. He is so pure and innocent and his talent is so unique. The musicians, backup singers, camera crew, technicians, emcees, competitors, editors, etc. in fact, everything about the video is perfect. I am so proud of this TV production from my homeland. And these guests from Kazakhstan is simply awesome.
Thank you,
Jeremy (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)

I had never heard this song before. Every note he hit was perfectly spot on. That’s impressive!
He's a rare talent. People all over the world have come to know him because of his participation in The Singer 2017 the Chinese TV show that showcased him to the rest of the world. He was already a household name in his own country Kazakhstan since he was a toddler. 🌎🌍🌏🇰🇿😜 😄🙏✌️🕊️
