Why only "Black Artists"? That's hardly an "All-inclusive" attitude in the age we live in.
I think idea is that many POC artists have a hard time getting shown so this is a way to bump them up. On the surface it might feel exclusionary but I think that’s not the intent it’s just to highlight artists that don’t get any high profile shows.
People have categories of collecting. I collect abstract art work. They collect African American Artists. Good for them.
@@ArtofComics Stop responding to/clarifying for these people. There is a growing movement among certain individuals (predominantly white men) to oppose or question everything that is not "white inclusive".
I'm a "White African" that lives in South Africa and an artist. Where does my art fit into this picture. It doesn't.....
