I'm convinced Prydwen just hates Argenti at this point. They said they'd think about moving him up depending on his PF performance without a specific turbulence, then in this PF he gets the highest average score out of any character and they instead drop him a tier lol.

And I also think Herta can swap with Himeko, because there are buffs in PF that make enemies drop below 50% via explosions or DoTs and it ruins her damage at times. Himeko on the other hand can get her value always by using a secondary damage dealer with AoE and corresponding weakness.

Argenti is definitely a tier above jing yuan in pure fiction, meanwhile in MoC I'm fine with his placement
@@devilassassin9385My point is that he was moved down because his performance was initially seemingly initially dependent on the PF buffs at the time, and they said they'd move him up if his performance was good outside of it. Fast forward to this patch where he has the highest average score with a buff that doesn't favor him at all and they instead drop him down a tier.
As a xueyi enjoyer, cant wait for the nahida version of this dendro mc. +atk, spd, dmg%, or crit stats with the super break mech Ill take any. Not even xueyi's final form
Or a silver wold version of hmc that can add a weakness to the enemy so your break dps can break any enemy.
Premium ver of HMC, could be later. We do have RM for break harmony tho, maybe another one in the future that can benefit mixed scaling more.
HMC can be said to be the first 5-star character that paves the way for break play, he/she will change everything 🗣️🔥

In Acheron team, Silverwolf has less lightcone requirement than Pela. It can be one reason that they list Silverwolf better than Pela.
True but her BIS is unavailable now. So many people complained for not getting it because they either skipped the event or is not playing at the time.
She also helps killing the elites faster due to better debuffs, since Acheron already overkills most smaller mobs anyway
As a Herta/Himeko enjoyer, I will agree that stocks are at a all time high and I'm loving it!
Facts. And they fact hoyo loves to pity players and add fire ice weakness in 1 stage of PF, means ez 40k for himeko herta on that side.

To be honest, the Topaz slander needs to stop. Like can people just acknowledge that when she came out Dual Dps comps weren't really a thing yet and no one knew how to properly use her. So because she didn't make use of Bronya/Ting Yun as well as Seele everyone labelled her and basically the whole Hunt path an easy skip outside of Seele. Now she's the lynchpin of one of the games best teams in the IPC Follow-up team, a staple on almost any follow up team and because of the frequency of her follow ups is even good along side a Himeko/Herta/JY in AoE content. Like I just feel like if Kafka is gonna be in 0.5 for what she does for DoT teams then Topaz needs to be in 0.5 because she does the same thing for every follow up character and her value grows with each follow up character released.

There is a strong difference between Kafka and and topaz. Topaz need 3 limited 5* and at the very least 2 limited or eidolon for those 5*. It's not cheap, the whole ratio topaz robin adventurine comp is the most expensive comp we have, and that considering ratio was free.
Without those topaz is league below the other support you can use . Her peak performance is top tier, this is why I agree, but at the same time to reach the high level of performance for Kafka you need black swan. Not even their light cone. You can even use sampo.
Hell, you can even just go full Crit on Kafka and she is a fine hyper carry..
Topaz is unfortunately way more limited. And the fact that they made her skippable at first only to release her comp back to back after several non skippable banner ....

I hate fua like topaz and ratio, i feel like they are somewhat underwhelming. For MOC I'd rather use acheron pela sparkle hyperspeed team and blackswan kafka dot team, and for pure fiction herta himeko robin + acheron team works so well it's insane. Never know or even notice why I need a topaz team.
@@Asegard A fair opinion mate, that your more than entitled to. And hell I like Kafka too, my 2 teams for a 4 cycle MoC 12 clear were FU team side 1 and DoT team side 2.
But to be honest, what you've mentioned, isn't really enough to sway my point of view as it's more of a personal take. As you haven't really factually or constructively described why Topaz is not as good as Kafka. Instead, just that you don't prefer Topaz and her FU style gameplay and then mentioned that Acheron is better. Which is truthful. I don't think anybody here would imply that either the DoT team or FU team are on the same level as Acheron. Which is probably why they're a tier below Acheron on the tier list.
I'm merely pointing out that I think the two key players of each respective playstyle should be on the same level as both are comparatively strong when in the hands of those that have built them well, enjoy playing them and know how to best use them. While also pointing out both characters fill the same roll of being the enablers of their own playstyle.

Kafka should be at the top tier for both moc and pf. Just like topaz, she's like a team's core unit and her value will go up over time
She shouldn't, her dmg without black swan is shit. Black swan without kafka is shit; they literally need each other like bad LMFAO. when there's another unit like black swan that comes out, then kafka's value increases HEAVILY because now she enables 2 strong units rather than just 1; and that 1 has an alternative being e4 sampo that actually is competitive with kafka in ST scenarios.
@@mikehawk6280ngl my DoT team (Sampo, Black Swan, Kafka, Sustain) is pretty efficient and I use this team most of the time.
Clara lets gooo, been playing Huohuo/Clara/sparkle/robin on moc 12 second half and it goes crazy, my best is 3 cycles with that squad!

Acheron's dmg is so high that most of it gets wasted because enemies are dead after 1 slash and you have get her ult back up again, similar case with jing yuan with his LL stacks
Argenti and himeko should be in T0 because they can hit so many times, specially for argenti, he gets energy every time enemies enter so ult energy fills faster

And In the most Optimal team With Archeron is with DOT characters like Black swan and they said that the easier and more quickly to achieved the clear gets the higher rating so even with Argenti's best team Archeron Clears faster with her best team

I still think its criminal to put Pela this much down. Its obvious, that Hoyo buffs the enemies through HP and Def stats in MOC. So a %Def shred will always get more value than a %atk or even %dmg buff. Especially since its an AOE with a SP-POSITIVE characters and a 2 turn CD for the Ult.

legit, besides Tingyun's energy shenanigans, Pela is outright probably the best 4 star in the game across all content. She just *does stuff.*
Pela is an amazing 4* and great casual unit but in MoC her damage amp isn't really that crazy compared to some others.
She offers 40% def shred on the two elites, which is cool and all but that's basically it.
Compared to SW giving more than 50% def shred as well as 13% res shred to all elements and 20% extra to the implanted one, plus more breaks for the team, her debuffs are simply more substantial in a 2 target scenario.
Pela has more value in contexts where you need the extra SP or dispel, though, but that's a more specific situation
Xueyi being as low as Luka and Sampo is pretty criminal. She is hands down the strongest 4 star damage dealer in the game. Granted, not because she has the same damage potential as Qinque, but because she is far more consistent. She's on par with certain 5 stars. ESPECIALLY when used as a driver/dps for superbreak comps.
The rest is fairly accurate, I would move certain characters up and down maybe 1 teir, so no point in stressing out about it. I do agree Pela should be moced up though.
I feel Silver Wolf should be in the specialist category rather than the amplifier tier, but then again I had an e2 SW for the longest time and got reaaaally lucky on her rerun and got her to e6 and now she is just a monster
I can kinda see why you would think SW should be a specialist, but she doesn't really fulfill those conditions. Specialists are basically enablers, jacks-of-all-trades, or units w/ strong gimmicks. Sure, Silver's weakness implant is a gimmick, but it's just something extra, not what defines her kit.
I’m really glad I managed to snag Aventurine and won 50/50 on Robin. Both are helping my account so much rn. Still I couldn’t get Aventurine’s LC but he’s a huge improvement as I only had FX and dont have Luocha or Huohuo. But I really do want Huohuo after seeing just how insane she is with DOT teams.

Acheron is pretty good in PF, mine clears SAM 40k whereas for the love of god I can't even get 15-20+k on 1st side (missing the good AoE PF characters)
Same she's really good in PF, although mine could only get 35k (my relics aren't that good)
Couldn't kill Sam in time with mine, he stays at like 25% HP 😢
Update: I got 40k with Acheron, Pela, Bronya, and Black Swan

I really prefer this tier list with the half tiers rather than the previous one where they just added an SS tier for Acheron cause there are just some S-tier characters who may not be as op as Acheron but also not as bad as A-tier either. Although I do agree that some placements here are questionable.

My go-to PF comp has been Herta-Himeko-RuanMei+1 its so good esp. during fua buffs. I just leave it at auto and it clears most of floors.
What improvements to break you are talking about? Feel like I miss something XD
I struggled in this MoC, like I almost had the urge to pull for Robin if it means she’ll help me clear…but I did eventually figured it out and got max stars. Tier lists are cool but it either for people who needs more characters and gotta figure out who to pull for, or zero cycles. But for us who built a lot of characters, but still struggles in certain content sometimes, it might just take some time to either figure out the right team comps or farm better builds. Each endgame content lasts around a month anyway and that’s enough time to make improvements.

8:58 hmc is already good tho?, her uptime is infinite with high damage (only gets higher with e6) and it feels like people who rate her low just havent get her eidolons from exploration. E4 adds ALOT
Absolutely. I haven't got around to getting the rest of her Eidolons (besides E6 until next patch~) yet. But even without E4, she's really good. And if you've seen some leaks, you know HTB is only gonna get better~
Tingyun above pela is crazy. Pela is easier build and use she doesn't need heavy invesment to a particular stat besides speed in my opinion, she does need ehr and efres but overall shes more consistent and can be built with hp% stats for extra bulk so she can take more hits.
This is why I don't care about Tier lists.

Absolutely. Even Herta, the former 'worst character in the game' is now one of, if not, THE best character in the game for Pure Fiction. Every character is solid in some way, and it seems that the Star Rail Hoyo team is at least somewhat dedicated to ensuring characters can all play their part to an extent, which is awesome!
Black swan has so much value and gives insane buff for kafka, acheron and even without them she is yop tier

Obvs can't speak for Brax, but a month or so ago, myself and one of my friends both agreed that out of all the characters, Topaz has been the biggest 'hidden' jackpot of a character we picked up. She just keeps on getting better.
I went and got her S1 E1 just cause I liked her and I knew she was pretty good (despite everyone's doomposting~), and realised a bit later upon reading over her kit more closely, that she had so much potential depending on future support.
Then we got a relic set for her, and Dr Ratio for free, and we *keep* getting more characters that she just pops off with. She is the queen of follow-up based double dps.
That said, I don't know if you follow leaks at all, but if you do, just keep an eye on Firefly, and see what you think of her as the beta goes on. You've a bit of time to decide on Topaz for this banner. (If not, there's always a potential rerun for both Topaz and Firefly in the future!)
Kafka for FuA team. Keep getting better when FuA support snd dps keep being released. Robin and jade later
She's not even optimal with Ratio until E1S1 (and arguably downright bad at E0S0). If you want to shell out for that go for it, otherwise she's an easy skip. Firefly's current beta kit is a bit underwhelming it pains me to say. Hopefully they'll realize they're really going to kick the hornets' nest if they release her as is and buff her a bit.

With new planars my Herta runs on 80/320 crit value without Sparkle in PF.

They just refuse to admit that selee (and acheron now too i guess) is the only dps in game so far who can consistently clear MoC 0 cycle and PF 40k withnrelatively low gold cost investment (gacha investment, not relic).
Aside selee and acheron i dont see any other dps who can do that consistently every PF snd MoC. And selee has been doing it for whole year.
But yea her floor indeed kinda low with high relic requirement, if ur relic poor, she wont perform nearly as good. Compared to some like JL for example, who has high floor with free 50 CV and bunch built in atk buff.
Thats why for average playerbase, selee sint performing as much as those TC and youtubers out there.
You should read the tierlist criterea first. They rate based on ideal team. So blackswan is rated with kafka in mind

The thing about specialist tier is that almost ALL of them need a specific team or character to pop off into the meta which is what it’s all about, so no I don’t think Kafka or Swan go down a tier without each other because they are specialist and either way they’ll need something else to reach their full potential same with topaz. But once you reach that potential they are among the strongest teams in the game
Well yea but before swan, kafka not even that strong in meta. So u could argue swan and kafka not top tier if missing the other.
Tho kafka less affected by that in this case, as she will get better again the more DoTs dps released in the future. Same cant be said with swan.
@@invertbrid They could also add unit that synergize with BS like someone that can extend her Epiphany or apply multiple versions of dot so Arcana can stack faster so it depends on how they design it tbh. It could be a harmony unit also idk.

We have hypercarry one (hanabi), break one (RM, tho they might release another break harmony who utilize superbreak to powercreep MC), and FuA one (robin).
If they releease DoTs harmony gonna be nuts for BS too, maybe u will use kafka along anyway in that team, but we will see.

As for the DoT team itself with only one per team Kafka and BS basically do the same DPS so if anything until we get another 5 star DoT unit BE is just objectively better then Kafka.
As a DoT main I guess Black Swan and Kafka make sense being T0.5 in the specialist tier, but only really with each other so I guess thats why it can make sense in the specialist tier. Away from each other they woulnt be as high, but as a pair they are just an OP duo I can understand the placing

@@unruh_8470 This. Sampo provides like 90% of what BS gives Kafka already for DOT comps, Kafka absolutely does not need BS to pop off, although when they're paired together they are insane. I can see the argument for dropping BS down to T1 but I think doing so undervalues the def shred she provides as a general support non-DOT-team option.

Acheron is a good pull for anyone even if you don’t ever play her. I can’t imagine grinding SU without her, lord have mercy for random overworld enemies that jump you while you’re trying to get 5 Jade.
Agree, i pulled her eventho as chara ngl i dont like her much, aside her amazing ulti animstion which i like.
But after i have her, she really help with weekly SU haha. It become much faster and less annoying to do. Tho if we want to grind relic from SU specifically, later they will add new function to the game to make that easier.
Like save state and when u load it, u fight the boss straight away if im understanding it right based on some teaser they have shown, so no mobs anymore. So acheron might be not needed as much later for SU.

Acheron is busted in PF. Put her with a fast black swan, kafka, and himeko and your enemies will never get a chance to go. Acheron’s últ charges so quick in that comp and kafka+swan cleans up the weak enemies anyway. Himeko also helps to get another chance to burn. It’s my consistent 40k team comp

Prydwen is doing pretty good job at tier listing. They are pretty accurate.

I still can't believe they havent put Clara in the specialist tier for some reason. It's hard to quantify her dmg the same way we do other characters cause her dmg is reactive. It scales off of her stats, but also based on how many times the enemies attack, as well as rng with enemy targetting.
It's unfair to put her that low in the regular dps tier. I might be biased, but idc, it's unfair.
Specialist characters are enablers for play styles. HMC is a specialist instead of a support because of that. Same for Kafka and BS and Gui.
Unless a new meta comes based on the idea of counter attacks and this enabling another powerful character to do something, Clara won't be a specialist. You know who would be a specialist for a clara-aventurine-buffer comp? A character who weakens enemy damage, stops enemies from breaking and increases enemies action per round. This will be the "Do nothing" engine - you do nothing and enemies die.
Ngl, that would be really funny. I would build a counter-attack centric play style and Clara would be an MVP on that playstyle, imagine if enemies dealt 1/3 of the damage and took 3 turns to attack her. This would be really funny.
As far as Tingyun being above Bronya. Remember this is E0 comparison.

Jade really wants aoe damage dealer in the team for her fua. In addition, she will constantly take away a little of HP, so it is better for her to have either a healer or FX

@@glnkoum Hunt and erudition have really low taunt values, And Aventurine blind bets increase faster with follow-up attacker. Unless you are against Conundrum 12 or very slow at clearing MOC, it is unlikely for others to be better.
