I think as long as you talk to your audience truthfully about why you are showing something that's enough. I would appreciate if you would say weather or not there are better options available if your going to cash in on the advertising boom from china.

I had Temu and other people from WISH ask me to make positive videos. I wasn’t offered $1,000, dam that’s temping, the most I was offered was $250. Had a company send me a pallet full of knock off dewalt cordless tools. My videos got ripped off RUclips for violating the agreement I signed; oops😂. I took every tool to my buddies ranch and we burned every power tool up within an hour.
I damaged a Temu tool the first time it was used purchased by someone else. I tried to replace it was displeased to find out I had to download the app but I didn't want to not replace it so I downloaded the app and immediately regretted and deleted it. I purchased them a nicer quality replacement.

I think they're more of a distributor since there's a lot of Chinese ripoffs that they sell of those products' more legitimate counterparts besides tools. Although I don't think I'd personally call Temu that either because they're breaking almost as many laws as Microsoft. On a side note, their trashy ads are literally *EVERYWHERE!* As in, you can't so much as play a game on your phone/tablet without getting a Temu ad at least three times
I completely understand where you're coming from CP, a lot of people (as in not literally everybody) anymore don't really look at the real truth or evaluate what's truly important. They think what they like to believe or they simply don't do their due diligence before drawing a conclusion on something. I solely believe that you should continue to do more RUclips videos despite the negativity you receive in a manner where you don't let that bother you on what people say about you negatively. You clearly do offer an honest outlook on whether something is good or not and you don't take money from corporations as a means to deceive people of what they're getting out of said product and the such. It's truly rare to see knowledgeable people like you that have actual skills and actually have done things in the automotive industry that not a lot of people possess now and days. You rarely ever see that on the internet unless if you really look for a hidden gem of useful information without the B.S.

Temu in my opinion is very hit or miss on whether something is good or not. I honestly don't like buying things from China period, on some things it's ok, in most cases I wouldn't buy Chinese cheap products that aren't remotely any good.
Honestly I'm not surprised at all that Temu took America by storm. Some people want quality stuff and of those, only X% can afford or would want to actually spend the money to get it. By and large though, a lot of folks value price. And if say a good t-shirt costs $15, but they can get a shirt for $2 on there and in their mind it's at least as decent as a $5 shirt, it may not be as good as the $15 shirt but there is value seen there since it performed better than $2 in their view. Just look at the rise of Walmart and the rise of Amazon. Undercutting the competition on price where possible, and adding convenience. Temu takes it a step further by having quicker shipping than similar platforms so you can get that shopping dopamine hit sooner, and combines it with absolute rock bottom prices.

Got a coworker that gets things from temu every now and then. I always joke that his credit card is now theirs. Even if theyre pretty much the same, I'll reluctantly trust the amazon Chinese brands long before temu junk, especially once you see some of the videos that expose them and their extremely poor quality.

I experimented with the solder seal connectors (not Temu). Great idea. Except, in my experience, they don't work. The solder goes around the wires unless you get it hot enough, in which case the plastic melts. No adhesive in the plastic. It's, well just plastic. I did several experimental connections and cut through them (what can I say? I get bored in North Dakota in the winter). All the same. Would not trust them longterm. Also, I dare you to send one of the ratchet wrenches to Client Graphics for "testing" LOL.
These Chinese apps like Temu and WISH make me so angry. I personally people who have had their products pictures stolen from their website and copied on these apps. One girl makes custom costumes for cosplay, they start at $300. She lost her shit when she found her pics on WISH and the product was going for $50. You can file complaints but because they’re over seas our system can’t stop it. The only way to shut it down is to have the government kick them off the App stores
Those little blue Christmas tree clips that you said you’ve never seen before are for rubber weather seals that are around engine bays,doors, lift gates stuff like that

All conpanies sell personal info, you just do not hear about it. I buy tools from Temu or Aliexpress if cheaper than Amazon or Ebay for non branded tools. For my main tools I go Japanese or German buy direct from offical sellers not Ebay, Amazon, Temu or Aliexpress.

I wouldn't buy tools from any of those mediocre chinese amazon wannabees, the only one I've ever dealt with is aliexpress because they've actually been around for a pretty long time on the global scene, but I still wouldn't buy TOOLS from them, I bought a replacement CPU for my 14 year old shop pc because all the ebay options were $50+ after shipping and I got one from an aliexpress vendor for $9 shipped... and it worked! It's still working! For antiquated PC hardware aliexpress is great 😂 but hell no for tools, nothing is more frustrating than trying to work with crappy cheap tools

I don't know why anyone would want to buy crap off temu. I hate cheap Chinese garbage, it just breaks and you end up having to throw it out and buy something quality anyway. Just a waste of money to buy anything from there
