@@PostalRedneck I’ve seen your video I have a 89 is it different from the model you have ? And do these car come with a factory inverter in them for the lights originally?
Fantastic. You are keeping your Ninety Eights looking grand. I enjoyed watch you work. I still have my 1996 Ninety Eight. I have three things I need to do it it. It is cosmetic stuff. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks! Im sadly going to be selling this car in the summer. In the 4 years I have owned it I only drove it 900 miles. I already pulled the lift off and installed the factory rims with new tires. Someone is going to be very happy with how clean this thing is. Good luck with the 96 and glad to hear you are driving it.
I just watched my last video I edited about the center console and this comment was on my phone when I was recording at the end. You made it onto one of my videos haha.
Great video! I have a couple of ‘83 Buick Park Avenues that are starting to have troubles with one side or the other. Not sure if the lenses come apart as nicely as this model though. I really like the soft color of the original lamps when they were working properly. All of the LED solutions I’ve seen until this were just too gaudy and bright.
If you want to post the video on there that would be great. Sadly this summer its going up for sale. I have owned it for 4 years now and only drove it 900 miles. Its time for someone else to enjoy it.
Did u ever sell the blue one. Mine stopped on me. And thanks to u I have enough information on this car. It sat up almost a year now I’m ready to get it back going. All I check so far is fuel
Car never did sell last year and im getting ready to pull it out of storage to clean up and sell. Its crazy how little info there is on these cars. They are not desirable and not many people keeping them around on the road. I can honestly say I think I seen maybe 2 driving around in the 4 years I have owned mine.
I mean you could always take it apart and see if the same type of fix would apply to your lights. I dont know much about the park avenue lights though.
I ran a + wire into the light and soldered 2 resistors onto the end of it and ran each of them to a light. Then ran a round wire into the light and split it to each light with another wire. Thats just how I did it.
@@PostalRedneck I’m not sure I’m following I have a 1988 Buick park ave trying to do what you’ve done here. Can’t figure out how you wired 2 lights in 1
@@stonybandz2473 yes. There is going to be one positive wire that you're going to split into two. Then you're going to put a resistor on the end of that wire and then wire off the resistor into the light. So you will have two resistors one for the left light one for the right light. Then you're going to have to split the negative as well and just solder them straight onto the light with no resistor in between
The car I did this on is currently for sale. You could buy it for the Opera lights haha. I will say its worth doing as no cars anymore have opera lights and it makes the car stand out.
Nice job just got my hands on a Oldsmobile like the blue one you have trying to fix the opera lights aswell great video
Nice. Not many of these cars out there and the opera lights stand out during the day and night making it a cool thing to have working.

Nice video. You sure are good at finding solutions. I would never have thought to paint the lens.
Hopefully this one will last longer than the first attempt.

Keep the videos coming.
Hope you get a bump in subscribers soon
I hope so too. This channel has kinda been just a hobby to me but its still weird how slow my subscriber count is growing.

Yeah I have tried a bunch of stuff to get that original effect but this is the closest I came to it.
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
With that 98 you might wanna get into Classic GM FWD if you aren't. We got tons of support for all these old GMs

@PostalRedneck hey can you do a video about the dash lights going out or do you know how to make them bright again

You remind me of kosic he had a eyepatch and lived in the woods. He was a cop
Im so lost and intrigued at the same time.
How did you do the resistor’s

You just have to Y both the + and - wires to the lights.

More gamblers
My next video will more than likely be on the Gambler Hoe. Its going to get a center console from a Denali.

I have a 1990 I need interior lights brightened
Well you are in luck I did an interior LED light bulb comparison video on these cars as well. Here's the link ruclips.net/video/DFc020g1X7Q/видео.html
can you do mines please 😢
You got this. Its not horribly difficult but its not easy either. In the end you will be glad you did them though.
