  • The third movement of Mozart’s Horn Concerto No. 4 (1786) is one of the most well-known pieces of horn repertoire from the Classical period, and it’s a set work on the CCEA GCSE Music syllabus.
In this video, LPO Principal French Horn player John Ryan tells us more about the French Horn and what it’s like to perform Mozart’s Concerto.

Edit-- **gasp** I'm going to be a freshman next year, too! Also, it's Mellophone. Do you happen to be familiar with Drum Corps International? Specifically the Bluecoats? hehe, they're my favorite :3

Uh... The F horn is yes a brass instrument and a wind instrument, but so is every brass instrument. According to Oxford's Dictionary, a wind instrument is classified by:
"a musical instrument in which sound is produced by the vibration of air, typically by the player blowing into the instrument."
Btw, I don't mean to be a smart-as5, but still. I'm just informing so you don't make the same mistake again!! :)
