I don't know if Danielle was the "bad guy" in their circle of friends, but I can see why they didn't like her. She's different, she comes off as someone who is never pleased, and she has an air about her... she was treated badly in some situations with the other women, but I wouldn't be able to deal with her because she is difficult and expectant.
Why the fuck would you even consider breaking up with someone in front of other people at a dinner that you were invited too? That's not okay. Breaking up with someone should be face-to-face in an intimate environment where both people are alone.

im 21 now, and i remember watching this show when i was a lot younger not long after it came out. i always thought the way they bullied danielle after being her friend supposedly was so wrong. i couldn't understand why no one else saw that. maybe i just got it because i was bullied when i was younger too. it was clear as day to me
