I’m working on two pieces using different slip trailing techniques-one turned out simple, elegant, and quite sweet, while the other… well, let’s just say it didn’t go as planned from the start!
Mapping a design onto clay using a grid background seemed like a great idea, but in practice? Not so easy! I also experimented with combining texture and slip trailing, testing different approaches on both pieces. Some parts worked beautifully, others… not so much. But that’s the beauty of learning! I’m embracing the journey, and I love that so many of you are on this path with me.
