I put my used needles in an empty pill bottle. It doesn’t take up much space, it holds a lot of needles and I know the needles are safely disposed of when the bottle becomes full. Incidentally, I hang my wall hangings with used needles! They work wonderfully without making big holes in the wall. They hammer in easily, pull out easily with pliers and do not damage the wall like nails or screws do. When I am hanging a wall quilt, I put the needle through the seam. It doesn’t damage the quilt whatsoever, you cannot see the needle, and the quilt lies flat against the wall. Depending on how large the quilt is, several needles can be used to keep the quilt flat and even. Works great!
Thank you Deb for this video. I love your channel!❤❤❤

I watched this video, and then went and cleaned my serger. Not a lot of dust, but I was really glad to know how to do it!
