I’ll tell you who won dat shit in Calm Down.
We did. The fans. We won that.
This needs to be known
Facts!
That beat Hella grimey
Exactly i think it was even
Hell yeah!
I love that Busta said he didn't want to disappoint Em because he knew Em looks up to him. That is 🐐🔥
Facts babygirl
@@PhilRockwell lol tf?
Facts! They both respect each other. I wish they'd get back in the booth.
So much competition, yet, there is so much respect....
Respect.

Busta- “We pushing that Em’ velope now...”. BARS!!!!
Send it to me ,awesome!
I can send more songs if you like them
Major
Pretty sure he always says that and it just happened to work out..
"I got a problem with this...."
-Busta
🤣🤣🤣
To my opinion, it was equal.
Busta in his Dungeon 'n Dragon's stuff and Em in his Shady's stuff.
So 🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@highenergycomiks8443 facts
@@highenergycomiks8443 round two, well technically round three, would be awesome. Em and Busta both been in their bag. I can't imagine what a 3rd record would sound like haha.
I think honestly, EM had the best bar of the entire song, but Busta took it. Neck to Neck though.
You can make a logical argument that either artist edged the other out. That is how you know it's a great song.
When Busta And Eminem get into competition it's like an immovable object meeting an unstoppable force, neither gets overwhelmed by the other. These two are phenomenal and represent what the true essence of what hip hop is as an art form. These two are Masters of the craft.
Eminem destroys BUSTA in every aspect of rap
@@thesmitty467
speed? No
Stage performance? No
Flow? No
Energy/passion? No
@@gravegaming2023Speed? Yes. He has the fastest rap on a hit single.
Performance? Yeah I'll give that to Busta
Passion? No way Busta takes that from Em. Listen to those first three albums, weren't anyone as raw or passionate as Em. Not even close.
@Burning_Saints Im a big eminem fan, hes my favorite rapper but Busta has been rapping fast, longer than Eminmem has. Energy rappers like DMX Busta Bone Crusher, have hella energy. Em will always be king of penmanship and bars and double entondres.
@aceinspadesz4882 I feel like Em brings that energy too , like on Till I collapse, most of mmlp, most of Kamikaze and like half of encore and recovery each
Busta deserves his spot on the Mt Rushmore more than most artist’s but never get his roses
Agreed, go back to Leaders of the New School, he's always been fire.
Was a great question. Every time I thought I had a answer, I argued myself to be wrong.i mean to me he has always been one of the emcees worthy of the top 10, now I think top5, but too many artists fall in that category and busta hasn't tried to makehimself stand out. But his voice stands out.....
Lyrically he's great, but he doesn't have a strong catalogue, a strong influence and relevance. That's why he's not up there
Any top ten that excludes Buss is illegitimate. Energy, technique, the voice, longevity.... No debate. Buss is the truth.
this is that hip hop shit we cant live without ......
Very on point!!! 👏
Nice I caught that snoop shot🤣🤣
@@kotatamplin9430 😂🤣 caught it too
Meh, bustas part maybe.
Busta has the same "issue" as Em, they dont really do about dealing, drugs, hood stuff. And they were always with the crazy vids/concepts
absolutely true
Two legendary poets in rap. There's some rappers that can put out good songs but not many that create front to back albums like used to be done before the $$90$$s ruined it. These guys have put out multiple albums I can listen to front to back, go through a range of emotions and energies and memories and feel drained and completely satisfied. This is the 🐐 from both of these 🎨. It'll be HARD to overcome this individually for either of these guys for me. Busta with the 3 pointer buzzerbeater after Em had a monster jam to nearly seal it. This is why we 💘 hiphop.
Facts. Which is why I find it strange Em doesn’t bring Busta up more as one of his favorites. For some reason we all seem to not sleep on Busta but forget and leave him out the conversation. This interview proves to me, and HUGE Em fan, how alike they are. Especially with that killer instinct and attacking style. Em is my 🐐 and Pac but Busta definitely did not finish 2nd on this song.
@@aaronday2122 agree with this completely. Sometimes even on 1st listen i may not feel certain songs when they drop albums. Ill pick up the flow and whatever bars I hear the 1st time. But like u said...range of emotions and things they get off...but I may not feel it until I hit a certain mood. These dudes got shit for every lane.
you must be new to eminem if you dontthink he raps about his The marshall mathers LP2 has about 5 songs about popping pills and hallucinogens....
Stevie, I think the reason Busta is not mentioned is because there is no controversy that surrounds him. He is a genuine, devoted hip-hop artist and everyone knows it. Unfortunately, since chaos doesn’t follow him, he is not recognized for the great lyricist that he is
I’ll agree with this for the simple fact that I can’t think of any other reason why he isn’t up there 🤷🏿♂️💯
Also, he is Jamaican
I mean that didn't work for Canibus, actually killed him
Although Canibus dissed LL hard and Ll came back with "okay, nerd" and everyone took his side
When busta was on power 106 basically doing karaoke of his own songs and nailed every word, every flow and every punch... it was honestly one of the greatest moments in hip hop history in my opinion... by the end he was so hyped and full of energy like a kid on a sugar rush, nothing better than seeing an artist who puts in the work for love, he truly is a goat
Nah that's disrespect. All these rappers put their 110% when ft with Em .They're not taking it easy on him. He is washing them because he is that good.
That's Hip Hop MMA respect. Two of the best bringing out the best in each other. Especially on a throwback vibe beat. A lot of people missed the depth in Em's lyrics on this song too, it's layered with references paying homage to that era.
More like Hip Hop Kumite
Nah, this wasn't layered. It was average verse with Em's usual tight flow. Em is at his best when he's talking about his personal life and feelings. This was average verses. He was much better on Dead Wrong. People ride his dik because of mainstream success but I've never really felt his non-personal life songs.
Busta's innovational lyrics is unimpeachable, contrastingly, acheron eternal flame of the breathing dragon masterpiece.
Busta didn’t wash Eminem lyrically but his voice over powered shady’s.
Both MC's could have done better imo...given who they are. I guess they got caught up on quantity...
I feel like EM tried to come TOO lyrical on a track where style/flow/rap acrobatics was more important. With that beat and those flows you wanna sit back and vibe and break your neck to the beat and flows and EM came with those double and triple entendres that made it mad hard to listen to lol you had to rewind every 8 words lol EM just doesn't know how NOT to come lyrical af lol
@@seankiesling2054 i think this is when everyone realized Em doesn't do 16 bar verses anymore too lol he literally can't. Forever, if im remembering correctly, was one of the last short verses he did. and even that was more than 16 lol
Energy mismatch
@@seankiesling2054 You said it all bro!
Love the honesty between 2 beasts getting the best and more out of each other, genius 💣💥
THIS is the rap beef I love to see. "Nah son, you ain't one uppin' me on my own track. Watch this."
3:30 he has ALWAYS been in my top 5. Even when I don't like some of his catalog, lyricism is an art for most and a stepping stone for the few 💯
Snoop or Joe?
Busta is the one and only, who made EM go rewrite , and he is enjoying it 2 🔥👌
Busta is not the first bro the whole slaughter house made Eminem rewrite his verse b4
People dont wanna get killed on they own shit so they gotta make em rewrite so they can compete with him

Busta Rhymes and Eminem they’re like brothers they have respect for each other they are the two fastest local legends in the rap game no one can touch the fit fame money Fanbase of record sales or anything Busta Rhymes in Eminem are like brothers they have each other’s back.
Man, love this story! Makes me wish they were filming behind the scenes during it. And you're totally right, Stevie, Busta should be on Mount Rushmore. Living Legend!
This interview was tough love hearing stuff like this 💪🏼
I mostly listen to rock/metal but a lot of 90’s hip hop. Love busta and I appreciate you breaking down all the songs you do. Nobody does it like you.
Love the whole energy around this calibration, two great artists making a great song, no one was better loves both artists on this one
This so nice to see two phenomenal rappers push their ability to the next level and make great music 🎶
Bruh, when he said “Em gave me 42 bars...... I got a problem “ I died man lmao because I know what will take place now.
Love your passion with the ins and outs of the music.
Legendary reaction SK ! Been Knight Nation since long time. Love your work mate.
Man I wish there was a podcast with these types of interviews this is such a good story I bet there are a million like this in the industry I could vibe to that all day everyday.
Facts
Busta is one of the greats that I look up too back in the days! I mean when I'm down, I just listen to Busta's songs and my spirit just soars to awesome heights!
This is so fire two 🐐 MC’s just feeding off each other energy and greatness to push each other so 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love the different lighting you use in your house
Look its hard to top Busta energy when he starts spazzing due to the tone and texture of his voice so em can never really match that as far as lyrical acrobats and bars em won that track if you are looking for energy that make you want to head butt the dash of your car busta all day ...but for me they both went crazy no clear winner it just 2 different animals💯
Nah busta lyrically goes off as well, the energy just takes precedence
For real though. Fans win when a legitimate argument can be made for either artist to "win".

Wow I just left a comment and said the exact same thing about Busta having the edge off his energy before I scrolled down and seen yours. 💯

Busta is definitely one of the top.
The problem is there’s many of extremely talented artists it’s very hard to put one over the other. I can’t of course some are better than others but collectively they mean everything the real rap and hip hop
Stevie. My favorite reactor. Thanks for all the content! I have a wish. You did some Omegle bars from Harry Mack, but you need to do the best one of them that really touched so many peoples lives. The "Omegle Bars 18" and start at 13:05. I promise that will be something you've never seen before, and I'd love to see your reaction to that. I myself have watched it 50 times last two weeks. Keep being awesome!
Yeah, omegle 18 it violated me it touched my heart.
Yeah the best moment of the whole series
Snoop has swagger nothing else in music
Yeah, incredible. Thanks for bringing it up!
"Omegle Bars 18" you say? I've seen some of his stuff. But is this really as good as you say it is? Not doubting, just wondering if I should check it out haha.
It's the way Busta talks "I got a problem with this...". That's hard dude
Stevie great reactions brother.
Thats mad respect on both parties
Hearing the story makes the record even more legendary.
Busta sacrifices radio play for the art of hip hop...to go bar for bar with the best alive....and now its gonna be a work of art forever....🔥
I like that they were in no rush to release it, they perfected it.
Golden interview !
What about “Hurt you” Busta ft.Em? Have you heard that one Stevie? It’s not a bar heavy song but it’s a good vibe for sure.

Yeah but can't say that about Snoop lol.
@@wedontagelikemilktho.6633 not necessarily. I think Snoop gets all the credit already. I mean that dude is legit OG in the rap game and I feel like it's easily recognizable with him but some people just don't want to give him credit. Had to relisten to Calm Down because the previous vid and wanted to get that hype before going into this video. Such a phenomenal clash.
It was equal for me👌but this is a cool interview.
Facts Bus is on a level that can't be matched. His music was pure amazement.
A full on busta and Em collab album would be dope as fuck. Their styles compliment each other so well because their flows, lyricism, wordplay, their animation and energy match up so well.
I feel like when ppl talk abt Eminem they make him sound like a mythological legend😅
They wouldn't say that if they didn't think it was true as far as rap goes he is definitely a mythological being.
Am I the only one who thinks Busta gonna be dope doing "I'm Groot"?
That bars hoodie 👌🏼
Stevie smiling like he advertising Colgate through the whole video it's jus shows how much u like this
To be fair these 2 could easily do way more than 42 bars each and still be able to fit it into a 3 minute radio track....with time for a coffee at the end...🤷♂️😂
Hope Stevie sees this. Bro. We would easily take these Em colab interviews, and extend them 15 mins with a brief reaction of the song.
Why do i keep coming to this reaction so many times and still enjoy your reaction as it´s my first time seing it? hahahah

Unfortunately Busta still is one of the most underrated lyricists out there. But he belongs into the Olymp of Hip Hop
He is not that's Redman who is underrated
Only a novice would think Busta is lyrically underrated. Go clean your room kid
I think em won the battle but that’s how I feel
this shi fire!!
Cheers knight 🍻
I personally think Em has a better verse, there is a lot of lyrics which one understand upon many visits - the thing about Em's verse was that everytime you listen, you find something new and it's not even reaching situations - it is what it is. Busta is a very good artist in the game but in that song Em had a more intense lyrics.
I agree em got the better verse lyrically. buster did his thang though his energy and flows are insane
@@kadertraore3404 100% agreed bro - busta is underrated a lot and no one really class him in there top 10 but I would say that he's definitely in the top 50 at least along with Tech Nine because he did join Em and 50 to ruin Ja in the Diss like hail mary where he did his thing. 👌🏻
@@Positivity_enhancer top 50??

Objectively and stylistically and from the vast majority of the fans and the rappers themselves thoughts and view of him says otherwise..He deffo is top 10-20...plenty of Hardcore hip hop fans who know they shit and put Busta in they top list if not No.1...
And yes Em is my fav and i do think he the Goat...with dat being said,if Em is No.1 - 5...Busta is defo top 10-15
@@hillarymathers6322 that’s your opinion. That’s your list. Hip hop is art and art is subjective to who is number 1. Sales and streams never determined who the best was in hip hop. Em is not the o my one to use tripe and double entendres and he’s not the only one who can rap fast. If we go by sales we might as well say vanilla ice should be my Rushmore. Busta can easily be number 1 rapper easily and most definitely should be a Mount Rushmore.
Busta is so good at telling this story. The legend he's created around the making of the song is one for the books. It's great that the two of them were in the studio together feeling that competitive energy. That's what it's about.
